iPad 5 to be smaller than usual, thinner bezel on the way

Earlier today, we pointed out some photos of what look to be the shell of the iPad 5 right up next to the iPad mini that we all know about. Nothing seemed too off at that point, until people started to notice that the size difference between the two tablets shown in the photos wasn't that great. It appears that the iPad 5 will come with the same 9.7-inch display, but Apple may slap it into a smaller package.

There have been no shortage of Xbox 720 rumors lately, and with E3 2013 just months away, we suppose there's no better time for speculation than right now. Microsoft's next gaming console is rumored to make an appearance at E3 this year, and Major Nelson himself (head of Xbox Live, Larry Hyrb) is even counting down the days until the big event. However, the latest on the rumor block is that the hardware specs of the new console have leaked out, and they look mighty impressive.

SlashGear Morning Wrap-up: January 21, 2013

This morning it's leak city as the rumor mill starts spinning like a propeller before Mobile World Congress 2013, coming up sooner than you think! The iPhone Math has to be one of the most absurd of the collection, bringing with it a 4.8-inch display alongside the plastic iPhones tipped earlier this month. Sergey Brin has been riding the subway in NYC sporting Google Glass as we inch closer to the developer events in that city and down westward at the start of next month. BlackBerry will be bringing the heat with BlackBerry 10 at the end of this month as well, RIM changing the name now of App World to BlackBerry World in celebration it does seem.
