Lenovo's new ThinkPad Yoga 11e Chromebook isn't the company's only Chrome OS machine, and latest to the batch is its new N20P Chromebook. Unlike the 11e, the N20P isn't styled after the company's famous all-black ThinkPad notebooks, instead sporting a smooth gray body and lid. Dell has introduced quite a few products this week, not the least of which is a slew of new Latitude business laptops, with several models being set to arrive spanning a roster of different features and specs. Included among them is the new Latitude 14 Rugged, a durable laptop expanding the company's rugged portfolio.
While not exactly at IFA, HP is joining in on the IFA 2014 fun by announcing a new series of notebooks and hybrids. Just ahead of IFA 2014, Lenovo has introduced several new products, among them being the new 2-in-1 ThinkPad Helix. The Helix is an ultrabook targeted at business users that can be transformed into a tablet when needed. The ultrabook has many bragging rights, among them being that it is 15-percent thinner than the previous version.
Alongside the maker's new ultrabook comes the ASUS EeeBook X205, the company's budget-centric compact laptop bringing with it Windows 8.1 and, says ASUS, a "smartphone-like experience." Unlike Eee laptops from days gone by, the X205 is slim and sleek, and will be launching in four different color options.
Keeping true to its Zen heritage, ASUS has introduced a new ultrabook dubbed the Zenbook UX305. According to the maker, this is the slimmest 13.3-inch ultrabook available with QHD+ resolution, measuring in at 12.3mm in thickness. Design is a strong focus with the laptop, with it including, among other things, diamond-cut metallic highlights.
Lenovo has expanded its Yoga laptop line to include Google's svelte Chrome OS with the nifty ThinkPad Yoga 11e Chromebook. Unlike some alternative Chromebook options, the Yoga 11e can be transformed into a full tablet mode, and it offers this functionality alongside a sophisticated design, squashing the mental image many conjure at the mention of Chromebook. How does it hold up compared to the competition? Read our full SlashGear review to find out!
