Lamborghini Veneno Roadster offers 750 horsepower, enters production next year

Lamborghini has unveiled its Veneno Roadster, a beast of a vehicle that touts a maximum output of 750 horsepower, allowing it to hit speeds of 100 kilometers/hour in 2.9 seconds. The car was debuted in Abu Dhabi, where it is decked out in a custom color called Rosso Venevo, with the auto maker promising that every buyer can choose their own individualized color. The car is priced at 3.3 million Euros sans taxes, and enters production next year.

The 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed was jam-packed with all sorts of racing events, including the infamous hill climb that saw two cars crash. When a company like Lamborghini describes a car as "extreme" then you know it's going to be uncompromising; unsurprisingly, then, the Sesto Elemento takes no prisoners on its first trip to the track. Designed as a limited edition to demonstrate the Italian company's carbon fiber talents, the 999kg Sesto Elemento is capable of a 0-62mph run in 2.5s from its screaming V10 engine. And, as vesuvius TOH's video of the car's first meeting with the track shows, even in comparison to other Lamborghini cars, the racer stands out.
