Take a Korg Monotron analog synth, throw in an iPad running Korg's excellent iElectribe app and then use an Arduino to tie the whole thing together: you're not only hitting some of the geekiest keywords around these days, but getting an awesome, glitchy, electronic music mangling setup.  YouTuber Denkitribe has been circuit bending his Monotron, coming up not only with the system described above, but one in which the accelerometer and joystick of a Wii Nunchuk are used to control the battery-powered synth. Korg monotron analog synthesizer lands in mini form factor

If you yearn for the 80's and all the synthesizer effects that were in popular music at the time Korg has a new analog synthesizer called the monotron that is right up your alley. Korg MicroSampler, WAVEDRUM and SV-1 launch

Korg have outed their latest product range, including the MicroSampler mini-synth shown here, a new digital percussion instrument, the WAVEDRUM, and a stage keyboard, the SV-1 Stage Vintage Piano.  Of the three, we're perhaps most intrigued by the MicroSampler, a compact keyboard with a sampler, loop sequencer and onboard effects, all of which are intended to be used in real-time performance.
