JVC introduces PICSIO GC-FM1 HD video camera

JVC has unveiled a new camcorder called the PICSIO GC-FM1 that is designed for users looking for a simple camera that can shoot still shots and HD resolution video. JVC D-ILA HD projectors outed: up to 70k:1 contrast

JVC have outed their latest range of D-ILA home theater projectors, with a full six models on offer spanning prices from $5,000 to $10,000.  Three - the DLA-RS35, DLA-RS25 and DLA-RS15 - will be pushed via JVC's professional products arm, while the remainder - the DLA-HD990, DLA-HD950 and DLA-HD550 - will go on sale via the consumer group.  Most impressive about all the models, though, are their contrast ratios: even the entry HD550 manages 30,000:1, while the top-spec RS35 and HD990 manage 70,000:1.

JVC announce four new sets of headphones

Headphones-a-plenty from JVC today, as the company announces two new sets of over-the-ear cans and two sets of multicolored in-ear headphones.  The former, the HA-M750 and HA-S650, are each foldable for easy transport and storage, and have carbon compound diaphragms, rigid carbon housings and memory-foam ear cushions.  The M750 uses 1.57-inch drivers while the S650 uses slightly smaller 1.42-inch drivers; they'll be available in August for $79.95 and $69.95 respectively.

JVC UX-LP5 Hi-Fi now available; has iPod dock

JVC has revealed their UX-LP5 today and it's a little bit different. This sound system is a Hi-Fi and features an iPod dock that can flip down whenever you want to put it to good use.

The device has a video output as well, so you can watch videos stored on your iPod for viewing on a nearby connected television. Also including is an audio input on the front of the device for easy connectivity.

Additional features include a total power output of 70 watts, an AM/FM tuner, a CD player, a USB port, MP3 and WMA compatibility and more. So, if you've always wanted a Hi-Fi that could play your MP3s, you're now in luck. You can get the JVC UX-LP5 now for $149.95.

JVC GD-32XI super-slim 1080p display hits Japan in August

JVC have announced that their GD-32XI - the world's slimmest 32-inch LCD display - will go on sale in Japan come August.  The screen, announced back at CES in January, measures 6.4mm at its thinnest point, and is capable of displaying 1080p Full HD video.

The GD-32XI has a contrast ratio of 4,000:1 and brightness rating of 400cd/m2.  It reportedly manages 100-percent coverage of sRGB colors and 90-percent of Adobe RGB, while cutting the number of necessary parts down by around 50-percent.  JVC's GENNESA image processing tech is also onboard, to reduce motion noise, improve color accuracy and boost still images.

JVC Xiview LT-42WX70 42-inch LCD for DSLR lovers

JVC have announced a new HD LCD monitor, and they're aiming it squarely at DSLR owners.  The JVC Xiview LT-42WX70 is a full 42-inch panel with 120Hz refresh rate and 1080p support, but the headline figures here are its 96-percent cover for Adobe RGB colors.  If you're as picky as most photographers are, then you'll be pleased to hear the LT-42WX70 offers a full 52 picture-quality adjustment properties for tweaking both still and video images source-by-source.
