JVC announce four new sets of headphones

Headphones-a-plenty from JVC today, as the company announces two new sets of over-the-ear cans and two sets of multicolored in-ear headphones.  The former, the HA-M750 and HA-S650, are each foldable for easy transport and storage, and have carbon compound diaphragms, rigid carbon housings and memory-foam ear cushions.  The M750 uses 1.57-inch drivers while the S650 uses slightly smaller 1.42-inch drivers; they'll be available in August for $79.95 and $69.95 respectively. JVC UX-LP5 Hi-Fi now available; has iPod dock

JVC has revealed their UX-LP5 today and it's a little bit different. This sound system is a Hi-Fi and features an iPod dock that can flip down whenever you want to put it to good use. The device has a video output as well, so you can watch videos stored on your iPod for viewing on a nearby connected television. Also including is an audio input on the front of the device for easy connectivity. Additional features include a total power output of 70 watts, an AM/FM tuner, a CD player, a USB port, MP3 and WMA compatibility and more. So, if you've always wanted a Hi-Fi that could play your MP3s, you're now in luck. You can get the JVC UX-LP5 now for $149.95. [via Coolest Gadgets]

JVC GD-32XI super-slim 1080p display hits Japan in August

JVC have announced that their GD-32XI - the world's slimmest 32-inch LCD display - will go on sale in Japan come August.  The screen, announced back at CES in January, measures 6.4mm at its thinnest point, and is capable of displaying 1080p Full HD video. The GD-32XI has a contrast ratio of 4,000:1 and brightness rating of 400cd/m2.  It reportedly manages 100-percent coverage of sRGB colors and 90-percent of Adobe RGB, while cutting the number of necessary parts down by around 50-percent.  JVC's GENNESA image processing tech is also onboard, to reduce motion noise, improve color accuracy and boost still images.   Read The Full Story

JVC Xiview LT-42WX70 42-inch LCD for DSLR lovers

JVC have announced a new HD LCD monitor, and they're aiming it squarely at DSLR owners.  The JVC Xiview LT-42WX70 is a full 42-inch panel with 120Hz refresh rate and 1080p support, but the headline figures here are its 96-percent cover for Adobe RGB colors.  If you're as picky as most photographers are, then you'll be pleased to hear the LT-42WX70 offers a full 52 picture-quality adjustment properties for tweaking both still and video images source-by-source.   Read The Full Story

JVC Everio X GZ-X900 goes on sale in Japan

The JVC Everio X GZ-X900 camcorder has gone on sale in Japan, ahead of what's expected to be a June 2009 launch in the US.  Announced back at PMA in March, the GZ-X900 can record 1080p video and shoot 9-megapixel still images, with up to 24Mbps AVCHD footage supported. JVC Everio X GZ-X900 shoots 1080p & 9MP images

JVC have announced their latest full-HD camcorder, the JVC Everio GX-X900, which is capable of recording 1080p video and shooting 9-megapixel still images.  Measuring just 2.6 x 4.88 x 1.46 inches and weighing 0.66lbs, the Everio X can take 5-megapixel stills (at up to 1/4000 shutter speeds) while recording full-HD video, as well as offering 600fps slow-motion video recording.   Read The Full Story
