JVC GC-PX10 brings PX1 hybrid camera to US this month

JVC's GX-PX1 hybrid camera/camcorder has found itself a US release date and price as the JVC GC-PX10, with the distinctive big-barreled shooter expected to drop later in October for a hefty $899.95. Capable of shooting both 12-megapixel stills and Full HD 1920 x 1080/60p video at up to 36Mbps, as well as super-slow-motion 300fps footage and more, the GC-PX10 is based around JVC's FALCONBRID processor, and can simultaneously capture 8.3-megapixel photos and Full HD video.

JVC Victor unveils new dual iPhone and iPad docking station audio system

JVC has pulled the wraps off a cool new docking station audio system for the Apple iPhone and iPad. This sort of docking station isn't something new by any means, but this is the first system I have seen that will dock an iPhone and an iPad at the same time. That means you can charge both of the devices from one dock and play music from either using the audio system aspect of the JVC UX-VJ5 and VJ3 systems. The audio systems are offered in a few colors as well.

JVC only had a concept of the GX-PX1 hybrid camera/camcorder back at CES 2011, so we spent more time with the 3D-capable GS-TD1 instead, but it seems the company's engineers have been busy. Impress grabbed some hands-on time with the latest version, which looks a little like a blend of Sony's NEX interchangeable lens cameras and JVC's regular camcorders, and it's shaping up to be an interesting model indeed.

JVC unveils new line of AV multimedia receivers for vehicles at CES

JVC has unveiled a new line of AV receivers that handle multimedia for vehicles at CES. The new line has four cool products that allow drivers to enjoy all sorts of content in the vehicle on the road. JVC also partnered with MotionX-GPS Drive to integrate its tech into the high-end double-DIN receivers. The tech lets the iPhone be integrated for use as a navigation device with control over GPS and song playback.
