JVC GY-HM600 revealed as GY-HMQ10 finally ships to 4k fans

JVC has outed a new ProHD camcorder, the GY-HM600, as well as finally beginning shipments of the much-anticipated GY-HMQ10 4k camcorder, albeit a little later than planned. The GY-HM600 shoots up to Full HD video, unlike its more expensive 4k sibling, with a wide angle 23x autofocus zoom with a particular emphasis on low-light photography (F11 at 2000 lux). JVC outs GZ-EX250 Wi-Fi camcorder

JVC has unveiled the first of four new camcorders that offer Wi-Fi for e-mailing or transferring digital files. The first of the camcorders to surface is the GZ-EX250. This camcorder supports full HD resolution using AVCHD format. It promises high-quality recording with UXP mode and 24 Mbps sampling rate. JVC demos first projectors to display 4K resolution

JVC is demonstrating its 4K home theater projectors at CES 2012, which we first saw back in December. The projectors are being touted as the first to display 2D HD content with full 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels or about four times that of full HD. The consumer-focused JVC Procision Series 3D-enabled lineup consists of three models, two of which offer the 4K upconverting technology. Read The Full Story

JVC Multimedia and Navigation head-units pack touch, BT, app support

JVC has outed a bevy of new in-car head units, ranging from double-din touchscreen multimedia receivers through to motorized entertainment/multimedia systems, at CES 2012 today. Both the KW-AV multimedia range and KW-NT navigation range offer large LCD displays, iPhone multimedia support and, optionally, HD Radio access. Meanwhile, JVC has also added Bluetooth smartphone support with the new JVC KS-BTA100 module, as well as detailed incoming support for apps in its head units. JVC Everio Camcorders get built-in WiFi

JVC has announced its 2012 lineup of Everio camcorders, which offers seven new models that span a wide range of needs from simple point-and-shoots to full manual controls. Four of the new models are now equipped with WiFi, which means that your videos and images can now be shared directly from your camcorder over a WiFi network. JVC GY-HMQ10 world’s first 4k handheld camcorder due March

JVC has launched the world's first 4K handheld camcorder, the JVC GY-HMQ10, packing a 1/2-inch 8.3-megapixel CMOS sensor capable of recording 3840 x 2160 footage at 24p, 50p or 60p. Priced at just under $5k, the GY-HMQ10 can also output 4k footage in real-time, and has an f/2.8 10x zoom lens with optical image stabilizer, as well as a color viewfinder and 3.5-inch touchscreen LCD. JVC shows off 4K projectors at Cedia 2011

JVC is on hand at the Cedia 2011 expo with some of its cool new home theater gear. The things that caught our collective eye are the line of projectors with 4k resolution. JVC's GX-PX1 hybrid camera/camcorder has found itself a US release date and price as the JVC GC-PX10, with the distinctive big-barreled shooter expected to drop later in October for a hefty $899.95. Capable of shooting both 12-megapixel stills and Full HD 1920 x 1080/60p video at up to 36Mbps, as well as super-slow-motion 300fps footage and more, the GC-PX10 is based around JVC's FALCONBRID processor, and can simultaneously capture 8.3-megapixel photos and Full HD video. JVC Victor unveils new dual iPhone and iPad docking station audio system

JVC has pulled the wraps off a cool new docking station audio system for the Apple iPhone and iPad. This sort of docking station isn't something new by any means, but this is the first system I have seen that will dock an iPhone and an iPad at the same time. That means you can charge both of the devices from one dock and play music from either using the audio system aspect of the JVC UX-VJ5 and VJ3 systems.
