I am a huge fan of the Joby line of gear that bears the gorilla name. The company has flashlights and all sorts of tripods for cameras and mobile phones. I have one of the plain Gorillatorch flashlights and it is a fantastic little device. The thing is a flashlight with adjustable brightness that is attached to a tripod with articulating legs and magnetic feet. A few months back I spent some time playing with the Joby Gorillatorch flashlight. The Gorillatorch is a flashlight that is attached to a tripod with three magnetic feet. The thing is fantastic and puts light just where you want it without you having to hold it, assuming there is metal around. If you're a fan of the Gorillapod tripod from Joby, then you'll definitely be happy to hear the company has just announced the Gorillatorch, an LED flashlight with a Joby flexible tripod attached. The new Gorillatorch allows you to brighten up any area without having to hold a flashlight. And with a bendable tripod, the light can be positioned in anyway you want. It also sports magnetic feet. Powered by three AA batteries, there is a dimmer feature that ranges from 65 lumens to energy-saving levels. You can get the Gorillatorch starting in September for between $29.95 and $34.95.

Joby announced their Gorillamobile tripod today, which acts a shift of emphases on cameras with their GorillaPod to mobile devices like the iPhone or Flip camera. What's cool about this tripod is that it can be used on just about any surface because of its ball joint legs. They can even bend so as to attach your device to a bike, a light pole or what have you. Included with the Gorillamobile tripod is a suction-cup mount and adhesive clips. You can get the tripod by the end of the summer for $29.95.
