The Apple television rumors are heating up again, folks. Only this time, there's some extra information that's floating around. In what sounds like a completely ridiculous prediction, analyst Brian White of Topeka Capital Markets says that an Apple television will launch this year, and it will come with an "iRing" of sorts as the motion controller. Apple HDTV tipped to include 3D Imaging Magic

It would appear that the next-generation Apple TV set that's been rumored for many, many moons may well be coming with a bang - a 3D imaging bang that's more than twice its worth in bucks. It's being reported today by analysts at Morgan Stanley that Apple will not just be bringing a full-fledged TV set to the market very soon, but that it could very well be bringing with it a barrage of next-generation context-aware or otherwise 3D sensitive technology. Sharp’s new 32-inch screens possibly for Apple iTV

Sharp announced today that it began production of 32-inch HI-DPI LCD panels last month at its Kameyama Plant No. 2, which has long been manufacturing advanced LCDs for TVs. These pixel-dense high-performance displays are the world's first to incorporate IGZO oxide semiconductors and could be used for Apple's much rumored iTV, if perhaps over-enthusiastic analysts are to be believed. Apple TV 1080p refresh announced for March 16

This week Apple CEO Tim Cook announced that Apple TV will be refreshed with a new device that supports 1080p video, this standard also set for the iTunes movie store as well. As Cook noted, "we're also announcing that movies and TV shows in the iTunes store support 1080p HD. They are absolutely incredible quality." Apple represented themselves with Tim Cook speaking at the Goldman Sachs Technology and Internet Conference this week, he speaking of the Apple TV saying that he simply cannot imagine life without it. In addition, Cook addressed the fact that he'd previously called the Apple TV a "hobby" saying that yes, it is a hobby, but that Apple doesn't do hobbies - saying that it's only considered a hobby because it's part of such a small market compared to the Mac and iOS markets. Apple iTV pushed back as IGZO panels unready for shipment

It appears that both Samsung and LG are both keeping their panels to themselves this season as the Smart TV market fires up and Apple sets its sights on IGZO. Sources are speaking to the tune of Sharp being the next on the list for Apple to be looking to for Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide displays for their upcoming iTV production line. This week we're hearing that Apple, best known for their innate ability to gain news fervor even when the most gigantic event of the season is coming up without them attending, is currently getting prepared to release a set of Apple TVs, or iTV models, as they're being nicknamed here. The first model will be a 42-inch model, a supposed former Apple employee noted to USA Today, the other being a massive 50-inch model.
