Apple launches ‘Complete My Season Pass’ for TV shows on iTunes

Until recently, Apple has only offered a music-oriented "Complete My Album" feature in the iTunes Store to allow users who have previously bought individual songs to upgrade to the full album at a discounted price. However, users have not had a similar option for TV shows, until now, that is. AVATAR iTunes Extras Special Edition makes you want it all over again

There's this movie out there called AVATAR, perhaps you've heard of it, that's been what its creators have had no trouble saying is ground breaking innovations surrounding it since it was first previewed - and today it's been announced that through its iTunes sales channel, the folks at Twentieth Century Fox will be bringing you a whole new interactive experience for the movie unique to the platform. You'll be able to do things like use your mouse as a wand to see where the green-screen is behind the real actors, see the behind the scenes scenes with full menus, and deconstruct "some of the movie's most memorable scenes." iTunes Match goes live internationally

Apple has rolled out iTunes Match for international users, offering those in the UK, Canada and other countries the chance to replicate their music collection in the cloud. iTunes 10.5.2 update brings CD audio distortion fix and more

Apple reveals animated Beatles record albums ad for iTunes

Without a doubt this should have been the advertisement video Apple should have used when it was first announced the iTunes would be making the historic movie to carry The Beatles music catalogue. Instead we've got it here at the end of 2011, and we'll take it! Not only do we get to dive in and through the greatest album covers ever printed on 12 inches of cardboard, we get to experience each of them in a warped and folded way anyone with two eyes and the ability to see can appreciate. iTunes Match launches officially, here’s how to get it

This week the kind folks at Apple have granted the masses access to their iTunes Match program, one that will allow users to subscribe for $25 USD a year and match up their physical music collection with the iCloud, giving them access wherever they go to their entire collection. You the user can get access to iTunes Match by downloading a simple software update to your iTunes application via the iTunes download page you’d normally use to do so. While this program had originally been intended for mid-October, several beta tests throughout the month have yielded a final release date of now, now being of course mid-November 2011.

iTunes Match library reset signals imminent launch

Apple's long promised iTunes Match feature may finally be nearing launch after the company missed its end of October deadline. Developers received notice today that Apple will be resetting and erasing their iCloud libraries on November 12 at 10AM PST so that the company can prepare for the launch of iTunes Match, although it did not specify when the service would publicly debut. Apple Store app adds EasyPay and in-store pickup

Apple has updated its iOS “Apple Store” app [iTunes link] with support for EasyPay and Personal Pickup, the company’s new, streamlined ways to buy shiny Apple kit. As expected, EasyPay allows users of the app to scan product barcodes in-store, read reviews on their iPhone and then charge the items directly to the credit card associated with their iTunes account.
