Apple reveals animated Beatles record albums ad for iTunes

Without a doubt this should have been the advertisement video Apple should have used when it was first announced the iTunes would be making the historic movie to carry The Beatles music catalogue. Instead we've got it here at the end of 2011, and we'll take it! Not only do we get to dive in and through the greatest album covers ever printed on 12 inches of cardboard, we get to experience each of them in a warped and folded way anyone with two eyes and the ability to see can appreciate. H1Siri hack prompts privacy and stability complaints

Concerns around an unofficial Siri port for the iPhone 4 and iPod touch have escalated, with some users reporting device instability, their camera no longer functioning and other issues, in addition to concerns around data privacy. The H1Siri hack came to light earlier this week, offering an unofficial way to access Apple's Siri virtual personal assistant tech on older devices; that port, iPhone modder Grant "chpwn" Paul points out, illegally uses copyrighted binaries extracted from the iPhone 4S. When you've got a jailbroken phone, aka a hacked phone on the Apple iOS mobile platform, you've got a lot of freedoms when it comes to illicit applications such as this most recent of the pack: Siri for your iPod Touch or iPhone 4 through an app called H1Siri. What you're going to get with this app is some developers from China by the name of CD-Team allowing you to use the Siri application and ecosystem to the fullest just so long as your device is both jailbroken and is running the newest version of iOS 5. iOS 5.1 released early for developers

Apple has released the first developer beta for iOS 5.1, making it the first real update since iOS 5 was released last month. A minor update, 5.0.1, was released earlier this month with the goal of addressing user's poor battery performance. There is much speculation that 5.1 will include updates to Siri, the iPhone 4S voice assistant, that will let users give instructions like turning on off settings like Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. The iPod dock by the name of XtremeMac Tango TRX has been out for some time now, having been first announced all the way back in 2010, but it’s no worse for wear with the 2011 holiday season rapidly approaching, and since we’ve never had a look at it before and there’s a brand new bit of functionality now with Google Music out of beta, let’s have a look, shall we? This device comes with several parts – first being the main speaker complete with iPod dock which can house anything from the tiniest iPod to the iPad 2, though I wouldn’t recommend the latter as it does block a bit of the sound blast and isn’t exactly held the most securely in place. Then there’s the bit that makes this whole thing unique: the second docking station, one that allows you to charge the device on one side of the house while the speaker jams music out at the other.
