Apple goes Bounce with new iPod ad
Apple has launched its new ad campaign for the latest iPod line, kicking off with a catchy thirty second commercial called "Bounce" showing the 5th-gen iPod touch and the 7th-gen iPod nano. The clip shows the two new iPods - and their unchanged shuffle sibling - being suitably enthusiastic about music, keeping to Apple's now-traditional theme of a more playful and less educational attitude to commercials for the media player range.

Apple reveals Lightning to microUSB adapter to pacify Europe
Apple's trio of Lightning adapters aren't the only connections offered for the iPhone 5, 5th-gen iPod touch and 7th-gen iPod nano; there's also a new microUSB adapter, though you'll need to be in Europe to get it. The fourth dongle basically connects a regular microUSB charger - or a microUSB cable for sync & charge - to the smaller Lightning port on the new devices, Apple's workaround to EC legislation about standardized ports.

iPhone 5 Lightning connector adapters priced
So, we know that the iPhone 5 will come with a different connector than what we're used to seeing. However, if you have some devices with a 30-pin connector laying around, the iPhone 5's new Lightning connector is probably going to cause some problems. That's where Apple's new adapters come in - they were detailed earlier today at Apple's event, but the company didn't talk pricing while it was up on stage.
