With the Apple WWDC 2009 Keynote a matter of hours away now, it seems as good a time as any to wrap up the latest next-gen iPhone rumors.  We’ve already heard about the higher-resolution camera with newly acquired video recording capabilities; now Daring Fireball are suggesting that the handset will in fact be called the iPhone 3GS, believed to be its current in-house codename.  The iPhone 3GS will be just one of a range of multiple Apple smartphones: as many as twelve, according to carrier information leaked to Spazio Cellulare.

We’re just days away from Apple’s 2009 WWDC and the keynote that’s expected to bring the new, third-generation iPhone, but that doesn’t mean we’re not interested in a sneak peak of what Phil Schiller might be announcing on stage.  According to Nowhere Else’s anonymous tipster, you’re looking at what’s said to be the new, matte iPhone Video ready for its Monday debut.

Next Monday Apple kick off their 2009 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), and first thing on the schedule is one of the most eagerly anticipated keynotes of the year.  Apple is expected to announce a new, third-generation iPhone Video, and SlashGear will be live-blogging the whole keynote at http://live.slashgear.com/ from 10am PT on Monday June 8th 2009.
