The case we’ve got here from Spigen SGP is easily the most form-fitting unit we’ve get had our hands on for the iPhone 5, and it’s quite the looker, too. This is the Spigen SGP SGP10091 Armor Slim Case for iPhone 5, and after you’re done with that mouthful, you’ll want to know that works with both a relatively hard-yet-rubbery TPU base and a polycarbonate midsection for both a bounce-factor and a hardcore beat-up protection assurance.

This case comes in three different color combinations, the one we’re working with here called Satin Silver. The other two options are Metal Slate and Gunmetal – very fashionable indeed. The different centers and covers are interchangeable, too, so if you’re thinking about getting the full collection, you can mix light and dark! We’re all about the light with our White iPhone 5, mind you.

This case allows a rectangular opening for your mute switch / rotation lock that’s accessible but not overly wide. Your volume buttons are covered by the TPU casing with + and – symbols so you still know what you’re pressing, the same being true of your power/lock button up top (without the symbols). On the bottom of the device you’ve got a slim opening for your Lightning port wide enough for your standard Apple Lightning cord.

The bottom also has a set of grilles that allow your audio to continue blasting forth from your device like wild. The headphone port – one of the most important points on any case for case maniacs like us – is slightly wider than the hole – as it should be! Spigen SGP makes a point of noting that Apple EarPods and “earbuds with L-shaped plug (within 6.17mm diameter) including Beats by Dr.Dre” are compatible with this case specifically.

The case is next-to-weightless, super-thin, and protective, available starting this week for $17.99 MSRP in stores that carry fine cases galore – go grab one!

There’s a lot of mobile gamepads out there for the iPhone. A lot of them connect via Bluetooth, while others connect directly to the 30-pin or Lightning connector. However, a new iPhone gamepad that’s looking to raise funds doesn’t use either Bluetooth or the connector. It’s called the WynCASE, and it uses the touchscreen itself by utilizing what the company calls BridgeTOUCH technology.

The gamepad conducts an electrical field into the touchscreen whenever you press one of the buttons, and the touchscreen recognizes this input as a regular finger tap. In order to make this happen, the case overlaps slightly with the edges of the touchscreen, but it looks like it barely interferes at all.

The WynCASE is the first iPhone gaming case that actually looks like a true iPhone gaming case. It doesn’t need batteries, and it doesn’t need to annoyingly connect to your device via Bluetooth or the connector. Plus, it’s so thin that you can easily slip it into your pocket without it getting in the way, and it’s not as bulky as other gaming controller cases. The WynCASE will be made for the iPhone 4/4S, iPhone 5, and the iPod Touch 4th and 5th generations.

At the time of this writing, the Kickstarter campaign has 29 days to go, and has raised over $8,700 so far, but their goal is $80,000. The WynCASE starts at $30, which is surprisingly less than most iPhone gamepads we’ve seen. However, there’s only a limited number of slots left for that price. Once that’s gone, the price will jump to $35. The case will come in either black or white, but the company has other colors available for slightly more cash. The WynCASE is expected to ship in April 2013.

There’s nothing quite like spending several hundred dollars on some of the most advanced smartphone technology in the world with the iPhone 5, then covering it with wood. That’s exactly what you’re going to be doing with the 10terra wood iPhone 5 case, and in this case, you’ll be working with the Tree design. The folks at 10terra currently have a relatively limited set of wooden cases, made for the two most recent iPhone sizes, the iPad back to the 2, and the Nexus 7, and they’re all made from high-quality bamboo – real bamboo, accept no imitations.

You’ll be working with slightly different sets of tones depending on which unit you get and will, of course, be getting a unique case no matter what as each case is made of real wood. This bamboo is carbonized with the same hardwood floor technique that many modern homes work with, and everything feels no less than top quality from start to finish. Right at the start when you pull the case out of the box you’ll get in the mail, you’ll notice something strange – it comes in two pieces and doesn’t clip on to your device the way essentially all other cases do.

Instead you’ve got some padding int he back and a fit around your device that’s so precise that the case holds it together like magic. There’s also a sort of tongue of wood from one side that goes under the other so there’s an extra bit of hold-together for the whole final product. You can rest easy, also, knowing that your case’s top and bottom pieces will have the grain matching up perfectly, each case being cut from the same single piece at the start.

The 10terra wood iPhone 5 case allows you to access all of your buttons and ports with ease with the single exception being the headphone port at the bottom if you’ve got non-standard headphones plugging in. As you can see at the bottom there’s a longer tunnel you’ll have to get through than you would with many other cases, but if you’ve got a standard set of iPhone EarPods, you’ll have no trouble at all.

This case is going to cost you a cool $36.95 right this minute if you order from 10terra and, again, they’ve got several other models for other devices as well. Every case is hand-finished and has a lovely laser-etched tree design on the back and the brand 10terra on the side of the volume button side of the case – real distinct, real classy.

It’s time again for the hardcore excellence of Spigen SGP with their newest in all-glass screen protectors for mobile devices – here with the GLAS.tR for the iPhone 5. This screen protector takes the protection of your iPhone 5′s front-facing display more than just a little seriously – making sure that not only to do you get the most hardcore glass protection with a super 8H hardness rating, but round edges as well. The R in the title of this product stands for “rounded”, a noted improvement on the edges of this protector compared to previous releases from Spigen.

Here you’ve got a protector that works with cases on the back if you want, but is now completely ready to be a fabulous addition to your iPhone 5 on its own as well – if that’s what you want, of course. When we used the previous version for the iPhone 4S, things got a little bit sharp – not dangerous, but ever so slightly odd feeling. Here with rounded edges the whole protector through, we’ve got a solid-feeling experience, and ever so smooth.

This unit is 0.4mm thick and made with chemically treated glass that makes is oleophobic – this is supposed to prevent fingerprints, but mostly makes for a slight less fingerprint-y experience on the whole. Application was absolutely easy and the package brings cleaning wipes if you need them as well as a sqee-gee – though you CAN apply it all without them, no worries. This unit also comes already adhesive coated, so no need for odd sprays of any kind.

Without GLAS.tR

With GLAS.tR

You have a hole in the glass for your speaker up top and a hole at the bottom for your home button. The home button will be a bit lower in your iPhone experience, which actually makes for a unique and oddly enticing situation, but you also get some home button pillow stickers you can use to raise it back up if you like. Two blacks, two whites, a terrifying lime/yellow and a cute pink, too. Match with your case!

If you do come in contact with a force that’s strong enough to break the glass, you’ll find that the unit’s Anti-Shatter Film has your back. The Glas.tR will turn into a bit of a folded-up monster of death, but you wont be hurt, and your iPhone 5 will still be fresh and undamaged as ever. This unit will cost you a cool $34.99 in the Spigen SGP store and is available right this minute.

Apple‘s new iPhone 5 went through quite the transformation regarding the rear of the device. Gone is that glass panel that seemed to be breaking and shattering for many users, and this time around they’ve replaced it with an extremely durable aluminum panel. While drop and durability tests have seen impressive results, that aluminum is getting scratched extremely easily — with some coming scuffed out of the box.

We’ve seen reports that some users have received brand new iPhone 5 smartphones with small scratches, scuffs, and dents on the aluminum right out of the box. That is a big problem especially if I just shelled out full retail cost. Not only that but the aluminum that covers the rear of the new iDevice appears to be extremely easy to scratch. While it makes drop protection solid, daily use you could see that iPhone 5 scratched up within a matter of days. Over at 9to5Mac they reached out to Apple regarding this new design and didn’t get a very good answer.

According to 9to5Mac, one user sent out an email to Apple’s Senior VP of Marketing Phil Schiller and the answer they got in return wasn’t exactly what they were looking for. Instead of possibly suggesting a case, or addressing the situation he simply stated what you see above, and quoted below.

Any aluminum product may scratch or chip with use, exposing its natural silver color. That is normal.”

Now obviously his answer is correct, as we’ve all probably scratched something aluminum. That isn’t the point though. The point is this is a growing concern among many users, as the device seems to scratch rather easy compared to previous models. The anonymous email user also asked for suggestions or plans to fix the issue, and that was pretty much ignored.

While we don’t particularly like Phil’s reply, at least he’s up and answering customers emails at 6:00 AM over in California. This poses a question. Would you rather have the iPhone 4/4S glass back that is durable yet shatters with drops? Or the iPhone 5 aluminum design that is much improved from drop protection, but might get scratched extremely quick?

Some new photos have hit the web showing what appears to be Apple‘s sixth iPhone. A Chinese case vendor is showing what looks to be the much anticipated iPhone 5 wrapped up in one of their production cases for the new smartphone. These pictures and that new docking port could be the iPhone 5′s final design.

Could final design iPhone 5 units be out in the wild already? It wouldn’t be the first time, and we’ve been seeing countless leaks and different parts of the new iPhone all month. This also wouldn’t be the first time we’ve seen cases for a new 4-inch iPhone design either. These newly leaked pictures certainly could be real. The speaker grill on previous leaks seems to not be included in these shots, but again those were never confirmed.

With the new iPhone production already under way in Shanghai could 3rd party accessory manufacturers already have their hands on the new phone? Who knows. At the same time this could also just a prototype from the Chinese case manufacturer themselves, going off the same tips, leaks, and rumors we’ve all seen for months. If you’d like to get caught up on everything iPhone 5 from the month of July check out our iPhone 5 July rumor round-up.

As I’m sure you all know, the next iPhone is rumored to be released later this fall. Stay tuned to SlashGear for the latest leaks and rumors!

In a move that might have you wondering if Incase simply had a problem with the mold this month, they’ve released a new iPhone unit called the Box Case – and it’s flat. It’s got flat edges all around, has a giant Incase logo on the back, and spaces carved out in the several locations you’ll want to be able to access your smartphone’s buttons and ports. The iPhone never looked so… boxy.

This case is made to protect the sizes and the back of your iPhone while giving you a better grip than ever before with soft, rubberized construction all around. The Box Case is certainly going to make your iPhone look unique, that’s for sure. So unique, in fact, that you might end up mistaking it for a box of pencils, or a glasses box. You’ll probably want to pick up the pink version so you don’t forget that there’s a phone in this case, let’s put it that way.

That said, there is a surprisingly fun-looking case in this collection, that being the semi-transparent Box Case again for the iPhone. You’ll be able to see your iPhone sitting in this block, but it’ll be protected just fine.

Everybody knows that Photojojo makes the strangest, most interesting, and indeed some of the highest quality oddities a camera enthusiast can buy – and today they’ve upped the ante for hipsters working with the iPhone. Grab you iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S, slide on the first piece of the cast, pop that into the second bit, and bam, you’ve got your very own retro-style analog camera that looks and feels relatively similar to the real thing, but with iPhone quality in the mix! You’ll be able to tap the shutter button to take a photo, use a real viewfinder, and mount it on a tripod!

And the whole thing is pretty darn customizable. This unit works with Photojojo’s collection of Magnetic Cell Lenses which include Fisheye, Wide Angle/Maco, and 2x Telephoto. The tripod mount is removable, the whole setup is lightweight, and there’s no blockage of any of your physical buttons or charging dock. The shutter button lines up with your volume up button which, as you know, works as a shutter button on its own in the newer versions of iOS with your camera application too.

This unit has side loops for a camera strap, the whole thing is very stylish, and that front lens has a function too. Even though you’ll still be using your own iPhone lens, (with or without Magnetic Cell Lenses,) you’ll be able to utilize that big lens front and center as a self-portrait viewfinder because it’s mainly a mirror!

You can pick this unit up starting this week for $65.00 for just the case or $99.00 including all three Magnetic Lenses – fun stuff!

There’s only one iPhone case out there today that both comes in pink and is able to bust a mugger down to his or her knees – and it goes by the name of SmartGuard. Regardless of the fact that this case cum weapon does sound sort of like an under-arm deodorant at first, the group Piexon, creator of self defense gadgets galore, implore you to not spray the contents of the attached canister under your arm. Instead this iPhone case has an integrated safety tab to prevent accidental discharge of the pepper spray inside.

This case has got to be the most dangerous (to your enemies) iPhone protector on the market today. With the exception of the Skinit Etched Metal Plate for iPhone 4S, never before have we considered taking the iPhone out to defend ourselves. Now that dream can be a reality with the SmartGuard Pepper Spray iPhone Case. You’ll be dropping muggers to their knees without effort with this ultra powerful 10% Oleoresin Capsicum (2 Mio SHU) with a spray range of 1.5 meters (that’s five feet).

When you’ve got the case engaged, you’ve got the canister locked in. To actually spray the pepper spray you’ve got to take it out and off of the iPhone case – then you’ve got 6 total 1/2 second bursts to take out whoever may be deserving it. So it’s essentially like you’ve got an old six-shooter in your holster, cowboys and cowgirls! And yes, this case does have an associated app by the name of SABRE Emergency App that’s also free to you iPhone users now!

This whole setup comes in black, white, or bubblegum pink if you really want to add insult to injury, and costs 37.50 Euro. Get it imported to the United States and it’ll cost you just a bit more.

Can you really put a price on pink-flavored pepper spray holding iPhone case goodness?

It’s hard to make video game aesthetics work in the real world. Halo’s segmented green and Starcraft’s otherworldly blue end up looking like odd residents when saddled to desktop staples or game consoles. But Bioware’s Mass Effect series seems to do well when translated into physical goods, mostly thanks to the subtle red-on-black racing stripe of Commander Shepard’s N7 armor. If you feel like you need a little more intergalactic style in your life, Razer’s introduced a collection of accessories (both gaming and fashion) to celebrate the upcoming release of Mass Effect 3.

There’s a whopping five pieces of hardware in the full collection: themed versions if the BlackWidow Ultimate mechanical keyboard, Chimera 5.1 gaming headset (also works on Xbox), Imperator wired mouse and Vespula mouse pad for PC gamers, plus a special Onza Tournament Edition controller for Xbox 360 players. (Sorry, PS3 faithful – looks like you’re out of luck.) In addition to the gaming goodies, they’re also producing a laptop messenger bag with an N7 stripe, plus a silicone iPhone 4/4S case with the Commnadier’s distinctive armor lines. You can’t repel a Reaper attack with an exposed glass back, now can you?

All the accessories are at a pre-order stage in Razer’s online store, and most go for the same price as their non-themed counterparts. The Chimera headset costs $209.99, and the Onza controller is $59.99, a full $20 more expensive than the basic model. The messenger bag goes for $79.99 and the iPhone 4 case will set you back $24.99 – no word on how that translates from Citadel credits. Razer estimates that all the products will ship in March, sadly after the 3-6 release of Mass Effect 3 itself. All the ME3-themed goodies come with a free Collector Assault Rifle in-game item.

There’s a Kickstarter project being announced this week that’ll bring a case like no other to the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. This project is the Snow Lizard Products newest case and it goes by the name AQUA TEK S, a first of its kind “ruggedized,” waterproof, and solar powered battery booster case. This case will come in a variety of different case colors and for a cool $100 you can get in early on the action early!

Though this case will add a substantial bit of bulk to your thin, sleek, and lovely iPhone, you’ll find it worth the extras. This case will come in signal orange, black night, and urban camo, and will collect sunlight through its back panel to power the iPhone inside. You’ll be able to access the touchscreen, volume buttons, speakers, and camera with the case fully enclosed. This case will allow you to drop the phone down a hill if you do so accidentally – and it’s waterproof up to 20 feet below the surface as well.

This case is made of tough Poly-carbonate with rubber grips to keep it secure in your hand and in your pocket.

Nissan may not be a name you traditionally associate with iPhone 4S cases, but the company’s Scratch Shield model promises self-healing magic to keep your iOS smartphone scrape free. Using the same clever scratch-healing paint as used on Nissan and Infiniti cars, the Nissan Scratch Shield iPhone case can actually repair any blemishes, the gel-like flexible finish changing back to its original form.

Nissan says the average scratch should be “healed” in around an hour, but more serious grazes could take anything up to a week to be fixed. Still, compared to smashing the glass back panel of your iPhone 4S or iPhone 4 – either of which generally aren’t fixed until you throw money or insurance at them – it’s a lot more preferable.

The magic is Nissan’s polyrotaxane-based paint, which is layered over an ABS plastic shell. A side-benefit is that it feels more tactile and grippy than a regular paint finish, which should hopefully help you avoid dropping it in the first place. Nissan has already licensed the paint to NTT DoCoMo, which uses it in some of its Japan-only handsets, while polyrotaxane is also being considered as a potential anti-cancer drug delivery system.

Nissan will be test-driving some prototype Scratch Shield iPhone cases this year, and is considering a commercial launch later in 2012. No word on how pricing might compare to a regular iPhone shell.

Geeks, cease your pacing restlessness: the Griffin Woogie 2 is here! Follow up to the surprisingly successful – and, near the holidays, darned tricky to find in stores – Woogie of 2010, the toddler-targeted huggable iPhone and iPod touch case now gains a personality thanks to the companion Woogie app, adding ten faces that respond to tickling, shaking and lovely warm cuddles.

Tickle the Woogie 2, and the characters laugh; shake it and they get dizzy. It can also repeat words and phrases – with the option to turn that feature off, if you’re getting sick of the parroting – and if you leave it alone the characters fall asleep.

As before, the soft-stuffed furry legs make the iPhone easy to prop up for a child to tap at, and a clear plastic window gives the touchscreen some protection while still including headphone socket access. You can download the Woogie app free here [iTunes link].

The original Woogie was a fond favorite of Avi Greengart, appearing in two successive last-minute holiday gift guides. The new Woogie 2 is available for order now, in blue or pink, priced at $19.99.

We’ve seen plenty of fun iPhone camera lens attachments and accessories from Photojojo before and now the company has unveiled a new case for the iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S called the iPhone Lens Dial. The case features three lenses on a dial that easily rotate into place for immediate photo effects.

The iPhone Lens Dial offers a telephoto, fisheye, and wide-angle lens, a perfect trio for most of your casual phone photography needs. The 1.5x telephoto lens is great for long-distance shots while the 0.7x wide-angle lens takes in a lot more scenery into your frame for nice panoramic shots. And the 0.33x fisheye gives you those fun concave-looking creative shots.

The lenses are all made from “optical-quality” coated glass while the case itself is slim and made from aircraft-grade aluminum. It also features two tripod mounts to work in either landscape or portrait mode. The Photojojo iPhone Lens Dial is available now for $249.

Mophie launched the Juice Pack Plus iPhone 4 protective case and battery extension back in May and now it’s offering a new Outdoor Edition that comes bundled with some handy extras. And since the exterior design of the iPhone 4S hasn’t changed, you’ll be able to use this case for either version of the Apple smartphone. It might just be a good idea to get a battery extender like this one given the battery issues plaguing the iPhone 4S.

The Mophie Juice Pack Plus Outdoor Edition bundle features a case with a special orange and gray color and comes with a one-year subscription for the Mophie Outdoor GPS app that covers the continental US and Hawaii. You also get a one-year subscription to the Mophie Outdoor Edition website, which helps you plan your trips. After the first year’s complimentary subscription, the service costs $19.99 a year.

The case incorporates a 2,000mAh battery that is said to more than double your iPhone’s normal battery life. This means potentially adding up to six hours of GPS usage, up to 8 hours of 3G talk time, up to 7 hours of 3G internet use, or up to 11 hours of video playback. A toggle switch allows you to put the case on standby so that you only use the Juice Pack Plus battery when you need to. And it features four LED indicators to keep you informed of battery levels.

The Outdoor Edition bundle is available now for $119.95 from Mophie’s product page. If you already have the Mophie Juice Pack Plus regular editions and would like to use the Mophie Outdoor app, you can download it from iTunes for $29.99.

iPhone 5 cases designed by Case-Mate have reportedly appeared in AT&T’s inventory list. This adds some new hope that the next-gen Apple smartphone will indeed be a more radically revamped iPhone 5 instead of the minor iPhone 4S upgrade. Speculation involving the two possible models continue to flip flop, but we’re certainly rooting for a next-gen iPhone that looks like the aluminum and glass mockup we saw earlier today.

The image was sent in to BGR and is purported to be a photo of AT&T’s internal inventory list, showing a total of 7 new Case-Mate cases designed for the iPhone 5. There are a few color options and the cases appear to come in three different types, including a hard case, soft case, and an iPhone 5 skin.

Some iPhone 5 case designs by Case-Mate were leaked in renderings earlier this month. Case-Mate also posted an ad banner on its website, suggesting that Apple would launch both the iPhone 4S and iPhone 5. However, Case-Mate later said that the banner was purely poking fun at current speculations and denied having any knowledge of Apple’s next-gen smartphone.

Once again, we won’t have to wait for long to find out the real deal. Apple’s “Let’s Talk iPhone” event is scheduled for next Tuesday, October 4 and we’ll be there live blogging, so keep it here at: http://live.slashgear.com/

New images of iPhone 5 cases have leaked and the designs continue to suggest that the next-gen iPhone will indeed sport a larger footprint while having a thinner profile with a curved back. However, recently leaked images of a prototype N94 that could be either the iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S, as Apple is rumored to possibly offer two handsets, have shown the next-gen design to look nearly unchanged. So which one is it?

Considering the abundance of iPhone 5 cases that show the “radical” new design and the investment that third-party manufacturers in China make to retrieve early details on next-gen devices to get a head start on production and sales and just all the insider rumblings that have been going around, we will place our bets on the case designs. These latest images from Macitynet.it show the next-gen iPhone design differences most clearly and dramatically. They also fall in line with the other silicone cases spotted in July.

The photos leaked of the iPhone prototype N94 shows a design that is identical to the current iPhone 4, but it’s not unheard of for Apple to encase next-gen components inside a current-gen case to keep the new design under wraps. They did that with the iPhone 4 hidden inside an iPhone 3GS case, so it’s certainly not out of the question that the prototype pictured was just a disguise.

Of course, all this is just conjecture and we’ll have to wait until either late September, or most likely early October to see the real deal. Rumors also continue to flip flop as to whether the iPhone 5 will be a world phone or a 4G LTE handset, since at the moment we can’t have it both ways.

I know that many people out there take photos on their iPhone, and I know a few people that shoot photos on the camera more than they do anything else. The bulk of those photos end up on Facebook. I think everyone that has an iPhone needs to have it in a case to keep it from breaking if they drop it. The case will also prevent your skin from killing the signal strength too. This case called the HipstaCase makes your iPhone look like on old school camera.

The case has a mounting bracket that adds a universal tripod adapter. The tripod you see in this photo isn’t included with the case. The tripod appears to be one from Joby in the photo. The round a part that looks like a lens is always on the case and the attachment for the tripod mount goes under that from what I can tell.

The case also has a wrist strap to help keep you from dropping the iPhone and that strap can help you stabilize the camera for photos. The case sells for $39.95 and will be offered to fit the iPhone 4 and the iPod touch. It will ship on May 5, and it leaves all the controls and sensors uncovered for access.

I long ago stopped wearing a watch on my wrist when the iPhone became my go to timepiece. If you like your iPhone and want an old school pocket watch to boot, we have the case for you. This fancy case has what appears to be crocodile skin leather and a fancy watch on the back.

That pocket watch movement on the back of the case is certainly the big feature here. The watch is a De Bethune DB 1024 movement nestled on the on the back of the case. It’ looks pretty cool actually, but with the way my iPhone cases tend to get scratched I don’t even want to think what this case would look like in a few months.

I also don’t even want to think about what would happen to that fancy watch or my iPhone if I dropped the thing. There is no word on pricing, but considering the fancy nature and style I am betting it’s not cheap at all.

Earlier this month I mentioned that the company had filed a patent application to protect the technology in the charger as it readied the things for market.

GSLO has announced this week that it has initiated mass production of the Volt chargers. If you haven’t been following this interesting green charger for the iPhone, the device is a case with a 1500mAh battery inside.

On the back of the case is a solar panel to help keep that battery charged up on the go. GSLO isn’t offering an exact launch date, but the CEO of the firm says that it will go on sale “soon” and will have a 1-year warranty. You can still pre-order directly from the manufacturers site.

Back in September ThinkGeek unveiled its cool TK-421 iPhone case that had a Bluetooth keyboard inside to let you type on your iPhone Blackberry style. If you were intrigued by that case, ThinkGeek is now shipping the TK-421.

If you missed this thing the first time around it is a case that has a swivel out Bluetooth keyboard inside that connects via Bluetooth to let you type on any app that the iPhone has. The QWERTY keyboard has clicky keys according to ThinkGeek. The keyboard is kept in the locked position using a magnetic clasp.

You can get the TK-421 in version for the iPhone 4 and for the iPhone 3GS. The iPhone 3G will fit the 3GS case, but the 3G lacks support for BT keyboards. If you add this thing to your iPhone, you have no excuse for not telling your supervisor why you aren’t at your post. You can order right now for $49.99 for either version.

A new case called the iMainGo 2 has debuted that is a case and a portable speaker dock all in one. The device measures in at 5.7″ x 3.8″ x 2.4″ and weighs 9 ounces. It has a pair of 2.5W speakers on one side and a clear sleeve on the other that lets you see and control your device. The sleeve doesn’t keep the touchscreen functions of your device from working.

Power for the speakers comes from four AAA batteries good for up to 30 hours of play per set. The speaker set has a tuned bass port and it will connect to any 3.5mm headphone jack. The case is made from neoprene that is waterproof. Any device with a 3.5mm headphone jack will work with the case. You can order one now for about $40.

The thing I always worry about is that they will drop the iPhone and crack the screen. Even if I have a case on my iPhone my I know if you drop it just right with the case on the screen will crack.

A new case from Griffin has debuted called the Woogie. It looks like a flower that is green and has six little arms. In the middle of the stuffed animal looking case is a plastic covered pouch where you can put the iPhone or touch in for protection.

The little case has a speaker built-in as well and gets power from a pair of AAA batteries that are included. The soft stuffed animal design should do a great job of padding the iPhone if the child drops the thing. You can get the Woogie for $19.99 right now.
