iWatch concept is what the iWatch should be

A new concept has been released for Apple's pending iWatch accessory, and we've got to say, it looks pretty acceptable. The concept was created by MacUser Magazine, and it shows a mini iPad mini plastered onto a leather band. The design is supposed to emphasize a conventional iWatch that's also stylish. While I do like the look of the iPad mini-esque display, I would much prefer a black band to a brown band. Read The Full Story

Dell XPS 10 and Kindle Fire are the most repairable tablets, Surface Pro and iPads come in last

Warranties have their place, but there's no shortage of techies who prefer to do their own device repair when something goes awry. Unfortunately, no matter how technically inclined you are, some devices seem built specifically to make the task as difficult as possible. If you live outside the UK or haven't got access to the Britain-based Blue Peter television program for whatever reason, you'll be glad to see that the full chat they've had this past week with Jony Ive is now available in full. The Blue Peter program hosts a variety of engineers, inventors, and famous people of all kinds and has done so over its record-holding span of years actively broadcast on television. Apple's own Jony Ive's appearance included chats about three different designs created by children who rose to the challenge provided the week before, and showed Ive receiving a special badge in his honor. iPad Mini now back in stock in many countries

Apple has finally restocked its supply of iPad Minis in its online store. The device is listed as “in stock” in many countries including the United States, Canada, and many others. Customers in Europe are still being waitlisted, with the Apple’s website telling them that there is still a 1-3 day wait time. Due to supply constraints, Apple was only able to ship out 60% of its 10 million iPad Mini orders in Q4 2012. Read The Full Story

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 may head to Europe in March

There is another report that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 will be heading to Europe by the end of March. The device will be heading to Bulgaria with a price tag that will compete directly with the likes of the iPad Mini. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 will come in 3 variants: Wi-Fi only, 3G + Wi-FI, and 3G + LTE + Wi-Fi. You will also have the option to choose from a 16 GB or 32 GB version of each. Read The Full Story

Analyst believes the iPad will see a complete redesign by the end of April

According to Piper Jaffray, an investment research firm, Apple will most likely be hosting an event between March and April. An analyst at the firm, Gene Munster, analyzed the time frame of launch events held by Apple, and he believes that Apple's full-sized iPad is due for a major redesign. Canalys: iPad was 1 of ever 6 PCs sold in Q4 2012

The analysis group Canalys has released a report detailing how they've run the numbers on the PC market for the fourth quarter of 2012, discovering that when the iPad is included in those numbers, they take 1 out of every 6 units sold. This report details PC shipments across the whole world for the fourth quarter of 2012 and makes it clear that while worldwide shipments of PCs did go up 12% year-over-year, it's Apple's iPad that seems to be making the most significant dent.
