Adobe got tired of waiting for a great stylus for the iPad, and so it took on the challenge itself, coming up with Adobe Ink and its companion ruler, Slide. Pens for the iPad aren’t new, but neither have they been especially proficient, but Adobe is aiming to change all that with slickly designed hardware and tightly-integrated software. Tons of big-name companies make an appearance at CES every year, and while Microsoft backed out of this year's show, there were still a bevy of companies that filled the void. LG, Sony, Qualcomm, Verizon, Samsung, Intel, and more, all stepped up to the plate to take Microsoft's place, but one other big-name company that made an appearance at the show was Apple. Pong Research has released an iPad case that it claims to boost your iPad's 3G signal and reduce your exposure to the radiation emitted by your iPad's 3G antenna. The case costs $100, but does it really work? ArsTechnica's Jon Phillips visited an FCC compliance lab to observe actual testing of the case and found that it does what it says.
