Last week, Apple officially announced a 128GB version of the fourth-generation iPad, set to go on sale today, and the company has kept true to their promise. You can now grab one of these bad boys starting at $799 for the WiFi-only version, or $929 for the WiFi+LTE variant. The WiFi-only model has a 1-3 day ship time, while the LTE model also has a 1-3 day ship time for AT&T, while other carriers have a 3-5 day ship time. Read The Full Story

Today we've seen confirmation of the iPad 4 being released with a newly massive amount of internal storage as well as, here and now, a new case for the up and coming iPad 5. The "confirmation" bit on the iPad 5 case we're seeing here is more of an assurance from the source which we can't independently confirm, but whose photos imply what's expected either way - a case that matches the iPad mini. With the iPad 5 hitting some time this year and the newly massive iPad 4 being shown today, we must expect that this fifth generation 9.7-inch (standard iPad size) display-toting machine will be appearing closer to October of this year than the previously suggested March. iPad with Retina Display 128GB official

Apple has officially announced the 128GB iPad with Retina Display, with the new super-capacity version of the fourth-gen tablet priced from $799. Set to go on sale from Tuesday, February 5, in both WiFi-only and WiFi + Cellular variants, the 128GB iPad has the same 9.7-inch Retina Display high-res screen as we saw before, but doubles the internal flash storage for those with huge multimedia ambitions.

iOS 6.1 released: LTE and iTunes Match boosted

This morning Apple has revealed iOS 6.1 for their most modern mobile device lineup, this download and upgrade available over-the-air for all iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch models currently carrying iOS 6.0. This upgrade includes several updates to the system including, first of all, LTE support for a brand new set of carriers for the iPhone 5 (and perhaps the iPad lineup as well), a full list of which you can find on Apple's iPhone 5 carrier page. Apple’s Tim Cook: Always question supply chain order rumors

Apple CEO Tim Cook has addressed the recent trend of divining sales performance of the company's iOS and OS X ranges from supply chain leaks, suggesting that "it's good to question the accuracy of any kind of rumor." This week the folks at Apple have revealed the power of their retail Apple Store locations around the USA and throughout the world with a total of 11 new stores opening up and 396 stores in total in operation today. This update makes for a massive amount of stores owned and operated by Apple themselves, selling mostly their own products - 150 of these stores being outside the USA. Apple sells 22.9 million iPads in Q1

Apple's results for its fiscal first quarter of 2013 are in, and things are looking pretty good for the iPad family of devices. Apple managed to sell 22.9 million iPads in Q1 2013, and though it doesn't go into specifics as to which model sold the most, it seems safe to assume that the all new iPad mini posted some excellent numbers. iPad mini tipped to make a massive splash in China

We're used to hearing about Apple devices selling out here in the US, and it appears that in China things aren't much different. Topeka Capital Markets analyst Brian White is saying today that iPad minis are flying off shelves there, after its launch in Hong Kong on back in November and China earlier this month.
