Last week, Apple officially announced a 128GB version of the fourth-generation iPad, set to go on sale today, and the company has kept true to their promise. You can now grab one of these bad boys starting at $799 for the WiFi-only version, or $929 for the WiFi+LTE variant. The "confirmation" bit on the iPad 5 case we're seeing here is more of an assurance from the source which we can't independently confirm, but whose photos imply what's expected either way - a case that matches the iPad mini. Apple has officially announced the 128GB iPad with Retina Display, with the new super-capacity version of the fourth-gen tablet priced from $799. Set to go on sale from Tuesday, February 5, in both WiFi-only and WiFi + Cellular variants, the 128GB iPad has the same 9.7-inch Retina Display high-res screen as we saw before, but doubles the internal flash storage for those with huge multimedia ambitions.

This morning Apple has revealed iOS 6.1 for their most modern mobile device lineup, this download and upgrade available over-the-air for all iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch models currently carrying iOS 6.0. Apple’s Tim Cook: Always question supply chain order rumors

Apple's results for its fiscal first quarter of 2013 are in, and things are looking pretty good for the iPad family of devices. Apple managed to sell 22.9 million iPads in Q1 2013, and though it doesn't go into specifics as to which model sold the most, it seems safe to assume that the all new iPad mini posted some excellent numbers. iPad mini tipped to make a massive splash in China

Topeka Capital Markets analyst Brian White is saying today that iPad minis are flying off shelves there, after its launch in Hong Kong on back in November and China earlier this month.
