The new iPad continues to roll out across the globe, with Apple announcing another round of countries that will have a chance to see that gorgeous Retina display. A total of 30 countries will be added to the roster on May 11th and 12th, including Brazil, Egypt, and Vietnam. It comes after Apple’s latest tablet was rolled out across 21 additional counties from April 20th, and a little under two months since the original release in Europe and the United States.

No iPad support in Pebble smart watch
E-paper smart watch and Kickstarter record-breaker Pebble won't work with the iPad out of the box, company founder Eric Migicovsky has confirmed, though the limitation doesn't look to have slowed demand for the gadget. Migicovsky revealed the omission in a reddit "Ask Me Anything" thread, as well as confirming that all of the currently 85,000-strong pre-orders will come with anti-glare and anti-scratch coatings to their plastic fascias.

Availability of Apple's new iPad continues to improve, with the delay in shipping for new US online sales now down to under a week for the first time since the third-gen tablet went on sale. New US orders through Apple's web store are now expected to ship in 3-5 days, though international availability still lingers at the 1-2 week mark.

New iPad 4G claims scrutinized in UK
Apple has come under fire from an Australian watchdog agency over its use of the term “4G” on the new iPad, and it looks like the UK isn’t taking too kindly to it either. The Advertising Standards Agency (ASA) has started to widen its investigation into the advertising of the new iPad and, according to the BBC, isn’t satisfied that Apple has modified its claims over 4G capabilities.

Better an iPad than an Ultrabook
