iPhone color rush: “budget” plastic backs leaked

iPhone color rush: “budget” plastic backs leaked

There's a brand new collection of so-called "budget" iPhone colored backs, the lot of them showing up as especially vibrant tones as expected. It's been expected that this lot would appear with connections to the recently enlivened aesthetics of iOS 7, an operating system given a boost by Apple's Jony Ive himself. Here we see that the innards will, if these images prove true, match the outer bits as well.

iOS 7 beta 3 improves non-Retina iPad “2x” mode with Retina iPhone apps

Yesterday, iOS 7 beta 3 was rolled out, and shortly afterwards we saw hints that Apple will be using AirPlay to stream iPad and iPhone content to car infotainment systems via an iOS in the Car menu that was found. iPhone 5S specifications may hinge on local voice dictation

Apple's next release cycle for the iPhone will be an incremental one - if all goes per tradition, that is. Plastic iPhones in neon tones: is this really Apple’s next generation?

Several photos have appeared over the past few days of what very much seem to be the back ends of the fabled "budget" iPhone, complete with wildly bright colors to boot. While these images do indeed seem to team up well with the idea that Apple would be continuing some color schemes born in their home-made accessory lines for the iPhone, such wildly divergent delivery demands a second look - could these devices be coming out to reflect the color scheme of iOS 7?

iOS 7 for iPad already suiting tablet well

Apple's iOS 7 beta 2 brings with it much-anticipated iPad support, and while we're still some months out from a full - or fully optimized - release, the new version is already looking arguably more at home on the tablet than it does on the iPhone. Dividing opinion with its pared-back chrome and greater emphasis on typography, iOS 7 marks a considerable shift away from the iOS we're by now familiar with, and the minimalistic aesthetic suits Apple's bigger-screen mobile devices well.
