More details reveal that Call of Duty 2016 will feature space, sci-fi theme

Back in February we reported that the release of Activision's latest quarterly financial report teased "a new innovative Call of Duty title" for release later this year from developer Infinity Ward, along with the speculation that it may feature a space setting — a bit of a departure for the military-themed FPS game. That theory seems to be gaining traction, as new details have emerged that this year's Call of Duty will take place in a far future space setting, complete with sci-fi elements.

Activision released its quarterly financial report earlier this week, and with that we learned that a full sequel to Destiny would be on its way from developer Bungie in 2017. But what about the publisher's other big FPS series, Call of Duty? Well, Activision didn't forget about it, as it confirmed that a new game in the long-running series would see release in 2016, with Infinity Ward developing the upcoming entry.

Call of Duty: Ghosts: why the hate?

Call of Duty: Ghosts: why the hate?

This week we're taking a look at the bigger picture when it comes to reviews of the game Call of Duty: Ghosts. When we first published our (still in progress) review of Call of Duty: Ghosts earlier this year, it was shocking to see how big of a backlash was issued at the hands of gamers that'd purchased the title and disagreed with our (mostly positive) assessment on a level so great that we were accused of publishing a paid review (which, for the record, we never, ever do.) Here we're taking a peek at some of the biggest complaints users have with the game.

Call of Duty: Ghosts hacking: Infinity Ward brings ban-hammer

For the PC version of Call of Duty: Ghosts, it would appear that Infinity Ward has had enough of the hacking nonsense that's been running rampant for weeks. To make certain the PC crowd understands what they'll be dealing with from this point forward, Infinity Ward has issued an announcement regarding 3rd party software.
