Sony XPERIA Tablet S revealed with Tegra 3 and ICS

The folks at Sony have revealed a lovely new tablet that you might feel like you recognize at IFA 2012 – the XPERIA Tablet S. Quite similar in shape to the Tablet S from last year, this device has a folded-over magazine shape, 1,280 x 800 IPS display, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. This device is bringing in a lovely IR transmitter so you can use it as a universal remote, and it’ll have the awesome NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor under the hood as well.

Sony reveals XPERIA lineup with James Bond in tow

Four XPERIA devices were revealed this week by Sony in quick succession - an XPERIA Tablet S and three smartphone XPERIA V and J, with the hero T appearing in no less than Skyfall. This week Sony's IFA 2012 press conference began with Kazuo Hirai speaking on how Sony aims to "Inspire and Fulfill" consumers around the world - moving people emotionally as they do so. This event also had Sony's European President in attendance - with a broken leg, perfect for the phrase "break a leg" for good luck. ASUS Designo MX279H and MX239H Monitors revealed

The folks at ASUS have brought on a couple new monitors for the IFA 2012 crowd, both of them inspired by sundials and made with matte anti-glare IPS technology for fabulous visuals. The ASUS Designo MX279H and MX239H Monitors revealed today work with LED backlighting as well and both have massive 178 degree viewing angles with super slim profiles at 14.5mm and 17.5mm on the MX239H and the MX279H respectively. ASUS Vivo Tab and Vivo Tab RT bring Windows 8 to Transformer universe

It's time for the fabulous shape and style of the ASUS Transformer tablet line to work with Microsoft for Windows 8 glory with the ASUS Vivo Tab and Vivo Tab RT. This set of devices looks rather similar to the ASUS Transformer Prime, but with a bit of an updated set of specifications and Windows 8 or Windows RT under the hood. With the Vivo Tab we've got an 11.6-inch IPS display with 1,366 x 768 pixel resolution and an Intel Atom CPU inside. Netgear N750 wireless router and N900 video and gaming Wi-Fi adapter debuts

Netgear is on hand at IFA in Berlin this week, and the company has unveiled several new and interesting products. I already mentioned the new Powerline Music Extender that allows you to share audio and USB devices around the home via your power lines. Two brand new all-in-one PCs have been revealed by Samsung for the masses of users looking to get in on Windows 8 with all-in-one power and 10-point multi-touch display action. There are two new models, the first of which has a 23.6-inch display, the other having a massive 27-inch display. Both devices have the same amount of pixels in their touchscreen display, Windows 8, and 10-point touch, but the architecture that backs them up is custom-fit to make sure each machine is its own beast. Samsung Galaxy Note 2 specs allegedly leak in full

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 2 phablet is believed to be only days from its official release, but a Korean newspaper claims to have jumped the gun on what, exactly, the stylus-toting handset will bring to the table. The Note 2 GT-N7100 will have a 5.5-inch 1280 x 720 display, so the Seoul Newspaper claims, along with 3G/4G connectivity and a 1.4GHz quadcore Exynos 4412 processor. Somewhat surprisingly, it’s also tipped to arrive running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, not the older Ice Cream Sandwich.

Samsung's IFA surprises could include an Android powered camera to rival Nikon's Coolpix S800c, the Samsung Galaxy Camera or Galaxy S Camera, according to pre-show gossip. Samsung’s Series 5 Hybrid tablet/notebook will make its official debut at IFA 2012, the company has confirmed, a converting Windows 8 portable with touchscreen control. Samsung took to Facebook to further tease the tablet, asking whether tableteers were “ready to be smart?” with the promise of a Berlin unveil this week.
