Samsung has announced a new portable media player called the Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 3.6. It follows after a long list of IFA 2011 announcements this morning from the South Korean company but doesn't fall into the smartphone or tablet category. Instead, it appears to simply be a 3.6-inch addition to Samsung's existing 4- and 5-inch Galaxy S Players.

This week in Berlin the Samsung Unpacked event at IFA 2011 played host to a whole batch of new devices sure to take the market by storm in the coming months internationally. Of course whether or not they actually DO take the market by storm is completely up to you, so let’s have a look at everything we’ve covered this week thus far. It’s Samsung’s week, of that we’re certain – and not only on the mobile front, in computing, in portable point-and-shoot cameras, and on TV too!
HTC Titan hands-on [Video]
The HTC HD7 was perhaps the most anticipated of the first Windows Phones, but a mediocre screen ended up undermining the experience. Now HTC is back, chomping on some juicy Mango, with the 4.7-inch HTC Titan, one of a new Windows Phone 7 duo announced simultaneously in four European counties including at IFA 2011. We caught up with HTC for some hands-on playtime.
HTC Radar hands-on [Video]
HTC was Microsoft’s most ambitious partner at the original Windows Phone launch, and the company has a similarly strong line-up now that Mango is on the scene. The HTC Radar is a 3.8-inch WP7 Mango handset with a WVGA display, 1GHz processor and a design that’s reminiscent of the Flyer or an ironed-out Legend. We grabbed some hands-on time with HTC’s Radar to see whether or not it should be on yours.
ViewSonic launches ViewPad 7x, 10pro, and 7e
ViewSonic has made some tablet announcements of its own today at IFA 2011 with a tablet trio of varying sizes and platforms. There's a 7-inch Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablet called the ViewPad 7x, a 10-inch dual-boot Windows Oaktrail tablet PC called the ViewPad 10pro, and a budget-friendly e-reader-like tablet called the ViewPad 7e.

Toshiba unveils TL Series value-minded 3D Smart TV
In addition to the Toshiba flagship ZL2 3D TV, which features the world's first consumer-targeted 55-inch glasses-free 3D display and a resolution four times full HD, the company also announced a more value-minded TL Series 3D TV, perhaps for those that may not be able to afford the ZL2, whatever the price may be when it's ready to ship.

Pogoplug Mobile hands-on [Video]
Pogoplug has brought its latest cloud storage product along to ShowStoppers at IFA 2011 this year, the Pogoplug Mobile, and as the name suggest it targets mobile users looking to access and backup their data while on the move. Smaller than the existing Pogoplug, the discrete black box hooks up to your home ethernet connection and can then share USB or SD storage with the company’s freshly updated Android and iOS apps, or the new Windows or Mac software. Toshiba is announcing a new SDHC memory card called the FlashAir that is WiFi-enabled. The card features an embedded wireless LAN that allows it to both transmit and receive files wirelessly. Lenovo U300s Ultraportable Laptop Revealed
This week the folks at Lenovo are revealing a handful of devices for those that love their computers to fly away at a gust of wind - first of all there's the "spectacularly slim" U300s Ultrabook, a luxury accessory as Lenovo puts it, powered by 2nd generation Intel® CoreTM i7 processor with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 and rolling in at just 0.6 inches (14.9mm) thick. Will this be the first laptop on the market to trump the fruit-flavored gust, aka the MacBook Air? We shall see.
