There's a brand new ultrabook this week as Lenovo steps up to the plate once more with its IdeaPad U300e. This laptop has a 13.3-inch display, comes with an Intel Core i5 processor in its most basic build, and has a lovely $959 price tag attached to it. This device's display has a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution and the unit is also able to connect with HDMI output, Wifi for web, and Bluetooth. This week we’ve got the newest offering in the ultraportable PC space with the Lenovo IdeaPad U400 sitting on the review block, and with its simplistic appearance, Core i5 processor inside, and classic “breathable” Lenovo keyboard, we’ve got what would appear at first to be an all-round lovely little number. This laptop has a 14-inch HD display, up to 4 hours of battery life off the cord, and it runs Windows 7 Home Premium out of the box. Lenovo IdeaPad U300S Hands-On [Video]

What we’re getting a look at with a full hands-on demo here at IFA 2011 this week, amongst other fantastical devices from all walks of life of course, is the IdeaPad U300S, a Lenovo Ultrabook, being both ultra-small and ultra-powerful with aesthetically beautiful chassis all around. On the right side of the device you’ll find a headphone jack, USB jack, full-sized HDMI port, and power port. On the left side you’ll see one more USB port and a grille through which Intel Advanced Cooling Technology will be blowing a lot of your hot air. This system works with the side opening there, a long grille along the rear hinge, and through the keyboard itself to help avoid the “hot lap” syndrome normally associated with laptops of such awesome power as this.
