A number of screenshots taken with an iPhone have leaked additional verification of several future apps for the platform this morning. These shots were taken by Weibo microblogger TD Beta, a leakster who has (in general) provided well-sourced content in the past. In general, the takeaway here is not that we’re seeing finalized icon delivery, but that these apps exist.

Smarter Siri with 3rd-party app integration could power iWatch

Apple's Siri is reportedly set to get a whole lot smarter, with the virtual assistant tipped to dig into third-party apps to extend its functionality on the iPhone and iPad, and perhaps upcoming wearables like the much-rumored iWatch. While Apple boosted Siri's abilities in iOS 7, adding the ability to post Twitter messages, pull information out of Wikipedia, and more, delivering results in a more lifelike voice, the system is still limited to a small subset of apps available for iOS devices.

Not to be out-done by the Jailbreak-only emulators of gaming consoles of the past, the developer behind GBA4iOS has created a release of his Game Boy Advance that works with all devices running iOS 7 or higher. This includes iPhones, iPod touch, iPad, and iPad mini as well. The re-release of this app brings on a newly refreshed user interface for ease of use as well, while the entire download is free of charge. In other words: this developer is creating this experience for the greater good of cross-platform gaming.

Path gets iOS 7 relaunch

Private photo sharing service Path has finally updated its app for iOS 7, with a redesigned interface, simplified controls, and broader sharing options to link to other services. Path 3.4 pares back the UI to match the rest of Apple's "flattened" appearance for iOS 7, in addition to adding swipe support to move between messages and the homescreen.

iOS in the Car demoed in early pre-official emulation

This week app developer Steven Troughton-Smith has one-upped his comment-less release of a set of what very much appeared to be iOS in the Car screenshots with a full-on demonstration video. Here you'll see the developer showing off the functionality of iOS in the Car with a video that's emulated the functionality in a developer window on a desktop. This functionality is already built-in with iOS 7.0.3 but is not accessible by default.
