Less fussy, crisper, and generally shedding some of the "unnecessary design" of previous iterations, HTC Sense 5 is put a greater emphasis on typefaces and 2D iconography, according to the leaked screenshots shared by xda-developers' mdeejay. Last week, the rumored HTC M7 made another splash by showing up in a leaked render. Today we've got a new leaked render to show you, this one looking a lot more like the phones we're used to seeing from HTC. Read The Full Story

Welcome to Wednesday evening everyone. This afternoon, what's supposedly the first full image of the rumored HTC M7 leaked out, though it's worth pointing out that what we're seeing is only a render and not an actual device. We covered a lot of stuff during our time there, and while you can find all of our coverage by navigating to our CES portal, we've also put together a few wrap-ups that bring together the most impressive of what we saw. First up for the day was our PC and Windows 8 wrap-up, which was shortly followed by our Android CES wrap-up, and then finally our gaming wrap-up. Considering the massive amount of news that came out of CES, you might be thinking that the number of wrap-ups seems a little low. You'd be right - we've got more wrap-ups coming this weekend, so sit back and watch as we recap all of the biggest stories to hit during the show. Read The Full Story

HTC One SV hits Cricket Wireless in bright red

, Jan 4th 2013 Discuss [0]

In just about as bright a shade of red as is possible in a presentation of an image on the internet, the HTC One SV has appeared for Cricket Wireless. We reviewed a device rather similar to this by the name of HTC One VX carried by AT&T (or the SV in the UK), here we've got a contract-free HTC One device with many of the same benefits of its larger, more impressive cousins, with no obligation to pay for data each month. It isn't exactly a secret that HTC has been in something of a rut lately. The company, which was once the top Android manufacturer as recently as 2010, has fallen hard in recent years, thanks to the increased competition from the likes of Samsung and Apple. HTC is going to try to turn that around in 2013, with CEO Peter Chou telling the Wall Street Journal that he's optimistic for the year ahead. Read The Full Story

, Jan 4th 2013 Discuss [0]

This week one of the biggest points of interest in the leaked or otherwise tipped or rumored smartphone department has been the HTC M7, and today we've got a batch of new details for you straight from the anonymous barn. This machine is set to be working with an "all black design", it's being said today by a source speaking with HTC Source, and will be coming with a new version of HTC Sense that's both clean and simple - not generally what Sense is all about (so to speak). This device will still not likely be appearing until at least after next week as next week is CES 2013, but you never know! Read The Full Story

, Jan 3rd 2013 Discuss [0]

HTC recently made their case for a top-tier handset back in November, with the DROID DNA boasting the highest-resolution display of any smartphone. However, in order to balance out its offerings, HTC has a new budget-friendly handset in town. The One VX is the company’s latest mid-range smartphone added on to their One series of devices, and priced at only $49 on AT&T’s network (after signing a two-year contract, of course), we simply had to get our grubby little hands on this device to see what it’s capable of. Does it provide value to entry-level minded customers without sacrificing a lot in terms of features and performance? Let’s find out.
