It was let known today that on the date of April 30th, 2011, HTC's Chief Innovation Officer Horace Luke resigned from the company for personal reasons. Luke had been with the company since November of 2006 at which time he had just left his position as Creative Director at Microsoft. At that time, HTC was little more than a newly emerging Taiwan-based smartphone vendor - now it's one of the most prominent names in the smartphone business worldwide, tending to both Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 platform and Google's mobile operating system Android. A statement was sent out in which "personal reasons" have been cited as the cause for Luke's parting ways with the business.

HTC ChaCha Facebook Phone To Launch On AT&T As HTC Status
We first saw the HTC ChaCha along with its sibling the HTC Salsa back at MWC 2011. They were dubbed Facebook phones and optimized for the social platform, even featuring a dedicated Facebook button. Although no official announcements have been made yet, insider sources claim that the HTC ChaCha will soon be arriving at AT&T as the HTC Status.

HTC ChaCha Review
You wait all this time for one HTC Facebook phone, and two turn up. Hot on the heels of our HTC Salsa review last week comes this, the HTC ChaCha, also announced back at MWC 2011 in February and bearing the same dedicated Facebook key as its sibling. A quick glance at the QWERTY-encrusted fascia shows the ChaCha is a very different beast to the all-touch Salsa, however; does that make it the social network phone to have? HTC Salsa Review
The first of HTC’s so-called Facebook phones, the HTC Salsa, arrived with plenty of fanfare at MWC 2011 back in February – the looming head of Mark Zuckerberg on the big screen, issuing a blanket blessing to all phones that prioritized Facebook integration – then left us scratching our collective heads as to whether we truly loved the social network quite enough to warrant a dedicated button for it. Now the lilac lifestyle phone is in our hands, encouraging us to detail the minutiae of our lives with everyone willing to read it. HTC Salsa and ChaCha Facebook phones hit pre-order
The first time we heard of the HTC ChaCha was when the smartphone was leaked by Facebook. The smartphone focuses heavily on Facebook and even had the Facebook logo on the bottom. The little smartphone also has a similar sibling called the HTC Salsa. If you are interested in the phones, they are both up for pre-order right now on Amazon UK. The phones have similar features with one major difference between them.

HTC ChaCha Facebook phone release dates scooped by – you guessed it – Facebook?
A series of HTC events to promote the company's Facebook drive may have tipped the launch dates of the HTC ChaCha Android smartphone. Eagle-eyed the::unwired spotted an HTC Germany Facebook promotion which will seemingly take the ChaCha - which has a dedicated Facebook button for sharing photos, status updates, location and media on the popular social networking site - on tour in Germany, Austria and Switzerland from June 18.

HTC’s Facebook button is the Start of Something Big
Yesterday HTC announced two new phones the ChaCha and the Salsa. Each included a new and unique implementation with the social networking giant Facebook. As I listened to HTC CMO John Wang talk about how deeply they integrated the Facebook experience into these devices I became convinced they are on to something.
AT&T Will Carry HTC Facebook Phones And More Android Phones Later This Year
It seems like with the end of iPhone exclusivity, AT&T is really broadening its smartphone offerings. The carrier just announced that they will be carrying HTC's Facebook phones later this year and will be adding at least twelve Android devices to their line up.

Recap Of New HTC Smartphones, Tablet, and Announcements From MWC 2011
We had quite a rush of HTC news live from MWC 2011 this morning, so here’s a recap in case you didn’t catch everything. Our very own Chris Davies got plenty of hands-on time with the new product line up from HTC including the Incredible S, Wildfire S, Desire S, Chacha, and Salsa smartphones, as well as the Flyer tablet. Other HTC announcements included an updated version of their HTC Sense, a new video chat app, new support for OnLive cloud gaming service, and their partnership with Qualcomm to develop multi-core devices.

HTC ChaCha and HTC Salsa hands-on [Video]
Looks like we spoke too soon on the HTC ChaCha and HTC Salsa; while the company first told us they only had a couple of devices at MWC 2011, locked up in a cabinet not even Mark Zuckerberg could penetrate, we later managed to grab some proper hands-on time with a pair of prototypes. Check out our hands-on impressions after the cut.

HTC ChaCha and HTC Salsa eyes-on
HTC has locked the single HTC ChaCha and HTC Salsa prototype units here at MWC 2011 behind glass, and they're not allowing our Facebook-addicted fingers to get any play right now. From what we can see, the ChaCha looks the more interesting of the pair; the physical QWERTY keyboard is nicely spaced on a surprisingly broad chassis, and the touchscreen - while small - is highly pixel dense.
