The devices you're about to see are being tipped as coming from Lenovo some time inside the 2013 Summer season, and if you'll look closely, you'll see how they've essentially lifted the styles of the HTC One X and the HTC One S top to bottom. Though HTC has moved past those devices with the more simply titled HTC One, you'll see first and fore most that the HTC One X has had its styling looked after on both the front and back of this code-named Lenovo S920. This device is also tipped as coming with many of the same specifications as the Lenovo K900, this time with a bit more affordability attached.

HTC Sense 5 coming to older devices
HTC announced its new One device last week along with Sense 5, which is a completely-redesigned user interface that will only be available on the HTC One. Or will it? Confirmed by HTC's Facebook marketing department, Sense 5 will be making its way to older HTC devices, including "global variants" of the One X, One X+, One S, and the Butterfly.

T-Mobile HTC One S MAO edition hands-on
With an update that makes one change and one change only, T-Mobile and HTC have brought the HTC One S back in its true form: red under the hood with Micro Arc Oxidation through the body. This device now matches the original HTC One S’s hardware basically top to bottom, with a body that’s not just a standard metal, but a metal that’s gone through a process which makes it essentially impervious to everyday damage. This device is also being offered by T-Mobile for an undeniable price at the moment: absolutely free.
T-Mobile HTC One S re-issued for free (and in its true form)
The original HTC One S has finally made its way to T-Mobile from overseas, replacing the paint-covered Blue edition that's been in stores since the launch. The international coverings for this machine are the same as we'd seen in the international edition of the machine here in Matte Black with Micro Arc Oxidation. This process, for those of you that weren't around when the HTC One series was introduced earlier this year, makes the device just about as rough-and-tumble as they come, ready to take on the world without any protection from a 3rd party case - no worries!

HTC One X Jelly Bean update starts in Taiwan and Singapore
In a press release on October 2, HTC stated that the HTC One X and HTC One S would begin receiving a Jelly Bean update sometime this month. It seems the process has begun for the HTC One X, with users in Taiwan and Singapore reporting on the XDA Developers forum that they have successfully updated to Android 4.1.1 with HTC Sense 4+. According to one user, as well as the screenshot below, it's version 3.14.709.16, and is 353.87MB in size.

HTC introduces One S Special Edition in white
On October 2, HTC said that it would be bringing Jelly Bean to the One S, although it didn't provide a specific date. While we're still waiting on that update, it seems customers in Taiwan can enjoy a Jelly Bean version of the One S via the new One S Special Edition, a snazzy white model with 64GB of storage space running Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean. HTC's One series includes such beauties as the One X and the One S.

What happened to the HTC Hero Device strategy?

HTC confirms Jelly Bean for One X, One S and One XL incoming
HTC has confirmed plans to update three of its flagship smartphones to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, with the HTC One X, One S and One XL all to get upgrades to the newest version. ”We know HTC fans are excited to get their hands on Google’s latest version of Android” HTC told SlashGear this morning. “At this point in time, we can confirm that we have plans to upgrade our HTC One X, HTC One XL and HTC One S to Jelly Bean.”

The Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S will be receiving official updates to Jelly Bean shortly, but what about other phones? Manufacturers have remained quiet on their Jelly Bean prospects for the future, but the HTC One XL and HTC One S may be the first handsets to receive the update to Android 4.1. Engadget points to a software update chart from Australian carrier Telstra that shows HTC is preparing an update for the phones to Jelly Bean.

PlayStation Mobile teams with HTC for mobile gaming greatness
This week Sony is bringing some gaming heat with no less than an announcement of attack on the mobile landscape, starting with the HTC One X. This announcement has Sony changing the name of their PlayStation Suite to PlayStation Mobile and making it clear that not only will HTC be their first third-party hardware partner, they’ll be working with other Android and Windows Phone groups as well.
