HTC One Max toys with fingerprint sensor in leaked images

HTC One Max toys with fingerprint sensor in leaked images

While it's not entirely unlikely that the HTC One Max (still not confirmed to exist in and of itself) would be delivered with a fingerprint scanner aboard, images appearing today appear slightly less finalized than past iterations. What we're seeing in the HTC One Max thus far is a test phone, one aimed at the "phablet" range of devices also being attacked at the moment by the Samsung Galaxy Note, Sony Xperia Z Ultra, and the Samsung Galaxy Mega - a 6.3-inch phone released internationally and just today confirmed for several USA-based carriers. Today's HTC One Max leak includes several pogo-pins for docked charging and a black block suggested by photo source ePrice as a fingerprint reading sensor.

HTC One Mini headed for AT&T to battle palm-sized competitors

HTC One Mini headed for AT&T to battle palm-sized competitors

This week the folks at AT&T have unleashed the smallest member of the HTC device family in the HTC One Mini. This device is the same size as the international release of the HTC One Mini, here coming with a few software modifications and connectivity with AT&T's mode of 4G LTE inside the USA. This machine takes on the form of the original HTC One in a smaller size with a smaller helping of processor power and a lower price tag to boot.

HTC One Max may launch aside companion HTC Mini+ in UK

HTC One Max may launch aside companion HTC Mini+ in UK

As HTC prepares to launch "big things" in the very near future, rumors of a dual-launch of two machines, one rather large and the other quite tiny, aim directly at the UK. The larger of these in the HTC One Max is tipped by Expert Reviews as quite possibly headed for a UK release right as the smaller companion machine we're speaking of here is placed on store shelves. The smaller device was known originally as the HTC Mini (not to be mistaken for our recently reviewed HTC One mini, the stand-alone smartphone.)

HTC One Max Robert Downey Jr full-length teaser appears [UPDATE]

While just a couple of bits and pieces were spilled yesterday, overnight it would appear that HTC made with the full-length video spot for their newest campaign entitled "Big Things Ahead." They also use the tag #HTChange, a single iteration of the multi-word collection of possibilities for what H.T.C. could stand for. It's also been suggested that this advertisement teases not only the HTC One Max, but the oncoming brand embodiment by Robert Downey Jr., Iron Man himself.

HTC One Max appears in early testing

HTC One Max appears in early testing

If you're not all about the smaller iteration of the HTC One in the most recent release from the company in the HTC One Mini, it would appear that HTC is also headed in the opposite direction with a bit more of a palm-filler. This device is tipped as the HTC One Max, bringing a 5.9-inch display to the market (we must assume) sooner than later, aimed directly at the likes of Samsung's own plus-sized hero in the Samsung Galaxy Note III.

HTC One mini Review

HTC One mini Review

Several months after the first market availability of the original HTC One, the HTC One mini emerges as a compact amalgamation of everything that was right about its predecessor. Working with a smaller body, a lower resolution on a sized-down display, and a processor that's not quite as powerful as the Qualcomm SoC on the HTC One, can this miniature second wave of a smartphone strike true for those of us with a smaller palm?

HTC One mini vs HTC One: What’s changed?

HTC One mini vs HTC One: What’s changed?

Mini phones are big business, as HTC follows Samsung in releasing a mass-market version of a flagship handset, in this case the HTC One mini. Near-identical to its bigger sibling, the HTC One, the new mini variant slims the original 4.7-inch screen down to 4.3-inches, for a phone that's easier to hold and cheaper in stores. They're not the only changes, however; read on as we run through what's new.

HTC One mini hands-on

HTC One mini hands-on

HTC isn't just relying on the One to turn its 2013 around: the company has the HTC One mini to help with that, a new 4.3-inch version of the aluminum smartphone. Slimming the flagship down - as well as some of the core specifications - the One mini is fronted by a 720p touchscreen where the One has 1080p, but still keeps the UltraPixel camera and Zoe photography system, among other things. We caught up with the new smartphone to see if the One's undoubtable charms have been distilled down to a more hand-friendly size.
