The folks at HTC have brought on a beast of a device this week in the DROID DNA, a smartphone with a 5-inch full HD 1080p super LCD 3 display and the highest resolution and pixel density available in the whole entire world. This device is literally the most high-definition smartphone on the market and works with Verizon’s 4G LTE network for data speed, also coming packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core 1.5GHz processor under the hood for beastly power.
Verizon has prematurely confirmed the DROID DNA, revealing that it will indeed be the star of its November 13 launch event, while images apparently showing the handset’s final design have snuck out ahead of time. The HTC-made flagship was referred to by name on Verizon’s own DROID DOES site, with the promise of a pre-launch unboxing exclusively through the carrier’s Google+ page.

Today we heard that Microsoft might be testing out a smartphone of its own, which doesn't really surprise us considering that it just recently entered the tablet market. Apple's freshly rephrased "apology" to Samsung went live in UK newspapers today, and one analyst is expecting the iPad mini to top 1.5 million sales this weekend.
