T-Mobile myTouch HD boasts HSPA+ & video chat

Further details on the T-Mobile myTouch HD have leaked, with TmoNews being sent a flyer from the carrier suggesting the Android 2.2 Froyo smartphone will have a 3.8-inch touchscreen, 5-megapixel rear camera and a front-facing VGA camera for video calls over 3G, HSPA+ and WiFi.  There's also a 1GHz dual-core processor and, of course, HSPA+ data for T-Mobile's 4G network.

T-Mobile’s HSPA+ G2 leaks, confirmed as HTC Vision [Updated]

T-Mobile's upcoming G2 smartphone has broken cover, with Engadget being sent images of the new HSPA+ handset in the wild.  Basically an HTC Vision with an HSPA+ modem, it's also now clear that the vague outline on T-Mobile's teaser page hides a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, an optical trackpad and, if the rumors are true, a 3.7-inch WVGA touchscreen and 1GHz Snapdragon processor.

T-Mobile USA has just pinged us to flag up their latest teaser site, for the new T-Mobile G2.  Billed as the network's first HSPA+ smartphone - which T-Mobile reckon will deliver speeds on a par with 4G rivals - there's scant detail as to the identity or specifications of the G2 itself, but we're guessing it's the HTC-made QWERTY slider previously known as the HTC Vision or T-Mobile G1 Blaze.

"You snooze, you lose" may not be the most eloquent way of putting it, but Sprint CEO Dan Hesse knows that the longer it takes to get customers onto shiny devices like the EVO 4G, the more chance his carrier rivals have to overtake him in high-speed mobile networks.  T-Mobile USA has just announced that their HSPA+ network is now the most pervasive in the country, currently covering more than 85m people and on track, the carrier promises, to offer HSPA+ to over 185m people by the end of 2010.

T-Mobile HSPA+ HTC Vanguard due September? Carrier 2010 roadmap leaks

T-Mobile USA are ramping up for an interesting second half of 2010, with official confirmation that an HSPA+ capable HTC-made Android smartphone will debut in September.  Interestingly, a leaked T-Mobile roadmap spotted yesterday tips the HTC Vanguard as due that month, though neither carrier nor manufacturer are spilling any details on the smartphone's specs or name.  What we do know is that it's likely to see roughly 10 Mbit/s download speeds, and will be followed by another HSPA+ capable handset in Q4 2010.

T-Mobile USA Expands 4G Speeds to More Than 25 Metropolitan Areas

It had to happen some time, right? T-Mobile tonight, somewhat late in the hour for an announcement, if you ask us, have just sent out the press release for the expansion of their HSPA+ network, which will now offer 4G speeds in an additional 25 metropolitan markets. Furthermore, the fourth largest wireless carrier in the United States expects to cover upwards of 75 million Americans by the end of June.
