Another day, another Samsung leak, and the company’s mobile device team must be wondering whether to bother turning up to Mobile World Congress next week. Latest to leak is the so-far unheard of Samsung S7350, a compact slider which has just been video reviewed (in Russian). The S7350 may not have a touchscreen like the UltraTOUCH S8300, but it does have a 2.6-inch 240 x 320 QVGA LCD TFT display, a 5-megapixel camera with flash, and GSM/UMTS/HSDPA connectivity.

If the new Nokia 5630 XpressMusic has got you all worked up and eager for its Q2 launch, you’ll be pleased to hear that Nokia have released an HD video of the handset in action. The skinny little S60 candybar gets flipped about to show off its ports and dedicated media keys, then the new animated Contacts Bar gets a run-through.

Nokia have unveiled their latest XpressMusic cellphone, the Nokia 5630, which will make its official debut at Mobile World Congress next week. The compact candybar measures just 12mm thick and runs the S60 OS; Nokia include a 4GB microSD card in the box, and the 5630 has dedicated music control keys on the left-hand side, together with a standard 3.5mm headphone socket.
Details of RIM’s replacement to the BlackBerry Curve have leaked, with the handset believed to be called the BlackBerry Gemini 9300. The biggest difference between the Curve and the BlackBerry 9300 will be the inclusion of triband UMTS/HSDPA, but the handset will also include a more powerful CPU, slightly redesigned keyboard and silver casing.
Samsung have announced their latest cellphone, the UltraTOUCH S8300, complete with a 2.8-inch WQVGA AMOLED touchscreen, slide-out numeric keypad, 8-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash and A-GPS, all in a chassis just 12.7mm thick. In addition, the S8300 has 7.2Mbps HSDPA, a microSD slot happy with cards up to 16GB, and more video playback formats than you can shake a stick at.
After details leaked last week, and LG themselves teased the device’s existence, the company has finally come clean and announced the LG Arena KM900. The touchscreen handset will officially debut at Mobile World Congress in a week’s time, but we now know that it will feature 7.2Mbps 3G HSDPA, WiFi, A-GPS and the company’s new 3D S-Class User Interface.
The Samsung NC20 has gone up for pre-order in the UK, with delivery of the 12.1-inch netbook expected later this month for the white version and in March for the black model. Both have VIA’s 1.3GHz Nano U2250 processor, 1GB of memory and run Windows XP Home, and come with the 6-cell battery pack. Also on offer is the Samsung NC10 with integrated 3G HSDPA, which will apparently begin shipping imminently.
Fujitsu have added high-speed 3G connectivity to a number of models in both their notebook and Tablet PC ranges. The WWAN connectivity – of which both HSPA and, later, EV-DO options will be available, depending on model – is now available on five models, with a further two options following in Q2 2009.

Toshiba this morning announced their latest smartphone, the TG01, set to take on the HTC Touch HD and iPhone 3G. The Toshiba TG01 is a 9.9mm thick Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone, with a 4.1-inch WVGA 800 x 480 384k pixel resistive touchscreen, 3G HSPA, WiFi, GPS and A-GPS. It also features Toshiba’s own 3D user interface, and is the first device to use Qualcomm’s 1GHz Snapdragon QSD2850 chipset.
Details of the upcoming 10-inch Acer Aspire One D150 have emerged, as the three different versions of the netbook to be available in France are detailed. The range, which starts at around €329 ($425), will go on sale in February with the entry-level D150-0B, with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, 1GB of memory, 160GB hard-drive and 3-cell battery. That will be followed in March by two further versions, the D150-1B and D150-2BG, with the latter having such features as an improved Atom processor and integrated mobile broadband.
