Two different rumored Rock Band 2 setlists appear

Every year around this time, we are bombarded with rumors. Does the summer heat give everyone an excuse to stay inside and pass rumors? Maybe, but it also nearly E3 time, which is when the rumor mill is in full swing. The latest we have is not one, but two different “leaked” Rock Band setlists. These come from “trusted sources”, which must mean that they are both completely accurate, despite being different. Read on for both versions.

80 tracks to be included with Rock Band 2, no user-created content

With any new game that's announced, there are always a ton of questions left unanswered. Over time details slowly trickle down the line, and Rock Band 2 is no different. One question we now no the answer to is regarding the number of songs included on the disc.  The magic number, it has been revealed, is 80, which is 22 more than the original game contained.

Rock Band 2 coming in September, for the 360 at least

If you guys are anything like me, you're pretty damn excited about Rock Band 2. Details on the game are still fairly scarce (and will likely remain so until E3), however, we do have an idea of when we'll see the game on store shelves. Let's just say that Xbox 360 owners will be a little happier than everyone else.

Rock Band 2 is official!

Man, every now and then I get blindsided by an announcement that I just wasn't expecting. Sure, we all knew that Harmonix was working on Rock Band 2, but I really didn't expect to hear anything official until E3 at the earliest. Well the cat's out of the bag, so read on for some highlights of what to expect about this awesome sequel.

Rock Band Weekly DLC – Weezer and Pixies

Today is Tuesday, which usually means a three-pack of songs to download for Rock Band. However, they've decided to change things up this week by not only giving you a trio of tracks, but they're also putting up an entire album from the Pixies. Hit the jump for the details.

SlashGear Review – Rock Band Wii

So I've had Rock Band Wii for a day or so now, and I thought I should be nice and share my thoughts with all of you, just in case you had any doubts or worries before it hits shelves next week. Hit the jump for my full review.

Rock Band goes to Japan

It seems that Rock Band has done moderately well (see: awesome) here in the US, so it's only natural that they're going to want to release the game in other parts of the world. We've known for some time that they were going to have a European release (even if it did take a really long time to get there), but this is the first we've heard about it turning Japanese.

Rock Band Weekly DLC – Not-so-exclusive European tracks

I'm sure that some of you saw the European Rock Band tracks announced a while back and wished that you'd be able to play them here in the US. Well Harmonix hasn't let us down, as they've announced the release of all previously exclusive tracks for US players. Hit the jump for the full list.

Rock Band Weekly DLC – Blondie, The Clash and Sonic Youth

Today is Tuesday, which means that you somehow made it through Monday. Once you've done that, you know you can make it through the rest of the week, because we all know that Monday is the worst day. Since you survived yesterday, you'll be rewarded with three new tracks for Rock Band. Hit the jump for this week's DLC list.

Rock Band Weekly DLC – Judas Priest is Screaming For Vengeance

Rock Band has been out for a while now, and Harmonix has been true to their word about providing fresh DLC on a weekly basis. This has given us fresh new music to rock to, and thus keeps the gameplay fresh and fun. What we haven't seen is a full album released. Again, Harmonix is good on their word, and will be releasing their first full album tomorrow.

Rock Band to join Mötley Crüe on tour!

Yesterday we announced that Mötley Crüe was releasing a brand-new single as a downloadable track for Rock Band. That was awesome to hear, however, Harmonix has announced that they are going one step further by joining the band on tour.

Behold! Record Label, the latest game from Harmonix

As you well know, April Fool's Day falls on the first day of the month. Unfortunately I think Harmonix missed that memo. Perhaps they thought that they might get a few suckers by waiting a few days to pull your prank. It's still pretty funny, even if it is over a week late. I give you Record Label.
