Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will have a PC port

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will have a PC port

Good news for Final Fantasy fans who are unfortunate enough not to have the latest gen consoles yet. Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, which almost feels like a filler for FF XV coming soon, is coming to the PC, also soon. Square Enix made the announcement over at Computex though hasn't filled in many of the blanks. However, the fact alone that it will be available on Steam is enough to send hearts aflutter, even if the launch date is still months away at the very best.

Nintendo denies rumored Android plans for “NX”

Nintendo denies rumored Android plans for “NX”

Yesterday rumor surfaced that Nintendo is considering using Android for its upcoming codenamed "NX" console. Such information came from Nikkei -- where it tends to surface -- and as expected Nintendo has cropped up to deny the rumor. Of course, this same pattern has played out before -- Nikkei making a claim and then Nintendo denying it -- and so whether the rumor is true is still anyone's guess. Nintendo says no, the rumor mill disagrees, and ultimately you just shouldn't get your hopes too high.

XCOM 2 announced, puts humans on the offensive

XCOM 2 announced, puts humans on the offensive

It's 20 years into the future, and humanity has lost. The alien invasion that we've tried so hard to prevent has taken place and now mankind is no longer the ruling species. All that stands in the way of total domination is a rag tag team of freedom fighters with limited resources and always on the move. That's the even darker scenario that is being painted in XCOM 2, Firaxis' sequel to XCOM: Enemy Unknown title, the award winning sci-fi game that blends strategy, tactics, X-Files, and and a whole lot of alien goo.

Nintendo delivery truck heist leaves pre-orders up in air

Nintendo delivery truck heist leaves pre-orders up in air

Nintendo pre-orders -- particularly of the amiibo sort -- are a hot thing right now, and trying to get an item before it is sold out is hard enough. What makes it harder are heists -- robberies, that is -- that snatch already-ordered gear. Such a reality has unfolded, however, with a delivery truck full of Splatoon amiibo and games being robbed in the United Kingdom. This is bad news for those in the region who pre-ordered the gear, as it is now likely stored in an illicit warehouse right now.

Mad Max Savage Road game trailer: it’s no Fury Road

Mad Max Savage Road game trailer: it’s no Fury Road

Cars and monster trucks that tumble and go boom. People beating the hell out of other people. Malformed, and mostly bald, inhabitants of a post-apocalyptic world. A mysterious leading lady slash love interest. And more cars that go boom. That is the gist of the new trailer for the game tie-in to the blockbuster hit Mad Max Fury Road. And the title, Mad Max Savage Road, might be totally appropriate, as this adaptation involves much more gore and violence than the film was willing to show.
