Qpad MK-85 and MK-50 gaming keyboards revealed

Qpad MK-85 and MK-50 gaming keyboards revealed

This holiday season you'll be making whichever gamers are closest to you the happiest they've been in days, supposing they're willing to get up and leave their desk and open a gift, that is - with the Qpad MK-85 and MK-50 gaming-oriented keyboards. These keyboards are bright as can be with backlit keys across the whole set of keys and both models boast a first for the hardware: Qpad claims that this is the first simultaneous keyboard tap capable USB keyboard set in the world. Sound like fun? Both of these keyboard models will be perfectly slick for all of your multi-batbelt needs as you careen through the streets of Arkham City (a game that'd just go lovely with these keyboards, just released on PC this week), and in the darkness you shall go with no sight troubles in the least.

Zelda 3DS special edition set for USA release

It is finally time all you lovers of the Zelda series who've put off picking up a Nintendo 3DS for long enough, time for the Zelda 25th Anniversary 3DS to hit US shores, complete with black casing, gold accents, and Ocaria of Time 3D right there in the box. Thus far the rumors have been that this would only be an international release - and indeed up until now you'd have had to think about importing one later this month here to the USA, but what we're hearing today is that both Best Buy and GameStop will be carrying the package come Black Friday. That's the 25th of November, next week, if you're keeping track, and we're guessing you'll want to get to the store rather early the day before and tent up if you plan on being there in time to grab one.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim sales a lesson in listening

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim sales a lesson in listening

The past few weeks several games have been released, each of the big names selling record numbers either in their own circles or in the greater scheme of things - what Bethesda Softworks release of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim's shipping of 7 million copies at launch tell us is we need to know the difference between shipping and selling. Just like a record label, a game developer keeps track of both the shipment numbers and the sales numbers on each of its games. While shipment numbers are an OK indicator of how well the stores across the country expect the game to sell, it's certainly not a perfect tell. If Skyrim does manage to sell all 7 million copies already shipped inside its first week of sales, it will have beaten Battlefield 3's five million copies sold in the same time period.

Nintendo 3DS set to beat DS first-year sales

This week its appearing quite possible that regardless of doubts in its success and the whole price slash situation, the Nintendo 3DS may well surpass its DS predecessor's first year sales. It is important to note first of all that even though the price cut didn't make everyone on the streets happy, sales did rise significantly. Sales started to soar come August of this year, and now according to the NPD Group the system has passed the 1.65 million units sold mark in the USA putting the device right on track to beat out the original in the same span.

On its launch day between the U.S. and Great Britain, Call of Duty's newest installment sold 6.5 million units in one day, that breaking the record with $400 million worth of retail sales.
