SlashGear Evening Wrap-Up: December 7, 2012

, Dec 7th 2012 Discuss [0]

Welcome to Friday evening everyone - the weekend is beginning for most of us, but before we dive in, let's recap the news from the day. Late this afternoon, we found out that Gameloft's full line up of games for 2013 had leaked, which is exciting to say the least. Unfortunately, all is not well in the gaming world, as BioShock Infinite has been pushed back yet again. This time it's been delayed into March, which means the wait for it has gotten longer by a month. We learned today that Best Buy will have to pay out $27 million to TechFoward for stolen trade secrets, which is not good for a company that has been struggling lately. Read The Full Story

Gameloft 2013 games roadmap leaks in full

, Dec 7th 2012 Discuss [0]

This afternoon Gameloft appears to have lost the cover on what very much seems to be a legitimate list of all the games they’re planning on releasing in the year 2013. This list is one that several Android gaming-centric sites are claiming to be legitimate, where in reality many (if not all) of the games could have been guessed simply based on the release schedule and success of game series over the past couple of years. Can you guess a few of them before we hit the full list below?

AT&T LG Optimus G Review

, Oct 16th 2012 Discuss [16]

With the LG Optimus G, this OEM brings on its most powerful device by a long shot, with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor inside and a 4.7-inch TrueHD IPS+ LCD display up front, this running on AT&T’s 4G LTE network here in the USA. What we’re seeing here is a device that’s ever so slightly confused in its identity – with more power than it knows what to do with in a device that looks and feels fabulous, but is just a bit bigger and more slippery than a normal-sized human being will be comfortable holding. Perhaps this combination of looks and processing power are enough to convince us that LG has suddenly become as much of a top-tier contender in the USA as Samsung and Apple?

It’s time to take a peek at the LG Optimus G as it runs on AT&T’s 4G LTE network and busts out with the majorly powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor on a set of three lovely games. The first game we’re taking a peek at is Wild Blood, a hack-and-slash monster-slaying 3rd-person adventure from Gameloft. Gameloft also presents the second game we’re having a peek at, that being Asphalt 7, a racing game with lots and lots of drifting. Then it’s time for a glu-developed game by the name of Indestructible – one car destroys another with chain guns, missiles, and many, many bombs. UPDATE: We’ve now got an AT&T LG Optimus G full review as well!

Gameloft teases its first Unreal game with a bloody image

, Aug 2nd 2012 Discuss [3]

Gameloft has started teasing its first game made with the Unreal engine, and it looks like it's going to be big. We don't have much to go on at the moment - only a single image and the knowledge that this will be made with the Unreal engine - but we're tempted to think that it's something along the lines of Infinity Blade. Of course, the picture below is open to interpretation at the moment, but Gameloft says it has hidden a hint within the image. Have a look and see if you can spot it: Read The Full Story
