Game of Thrones returns in Trailer for PS4, Xbox One

This week the folks behind the Telltale Games release of Game of Thrones have decided to unveil their first trailer. This is an episodic series of games, starting with "A Song of Ice and Fire", and will follow similar formatting to other episodic games from the same developer: The Walking Dead, Tales from the Borderlands, and The Wolf Among Us included. This release has George R.R. Martin working as story consultant and has characters from the HBO series doing the voices of the characters they represent in the TV series.

Google app says “Hodor”, and that’s it

Starting tomorrow you'll find the Google app - the search portion of it, that is - saying "Hodor" whenever you also say "Hodor." This is a reference to the character Hodor in the Game of Thrones story and TV show. This feature will be summoned to life starting on the 12th of November, 2014 at 1PM Eastern Time. Whether or not this means anything else for the Game of Thrones release schedule is not known - HBO and Google won't confirm anything directly, that is to say.

What can't you make with LEGOs? We've seen a functional mech sleeve, an inexpensive braille printer, even a rotating iPhone dock. And that's not to mention the movie and other entertainment that has been LEGO-fied. It only makes sense, then, that someone would tackle Game of Thrones, and those someones have done so in a very big way: with a massive full-scale replica of the series' world Westeros, complete with a huge white wall and Tyrion Lannister perched upon it...relieving himself.

This past summer, a teaser poster for a theatrical rendition of The Last of Us was released at the San Diego Comic Con, and in it we got a glimpse of an unknown girl. It was during an SDCC panel that Maisie Williams -- best known for playing Arya Stark in Game of Thrones -- was revealed as being a contender for playing Ellie. Though the movie is still a long way off and details about it are slight, Williams recently confirmed that talks took place, and went into some details about what went down.
