The Order 1886 Twitch gameplay promises real next-gen graphics

The Order 1886 is a game made to take part in the second wave of "next-generation" consoles: Xbox One and PlayStation 4 - exclusive to the latter, in this case. Today we’ve been treated to a PlayStation 4-specific bit of gameplay courtesy of Sony and the creators of the game Ready at Dawn. Straight from the PlayStation 4 version of The Order 1886, gameplay shows us a sort of steampunk-inspired landscape in which the player is invited to team up with users aiming to take on enemies from a 3rd-person perspective.

Hitman 2014 tipped for reveal in May, demo at E3

Earlier this year it was suggested by IO Interactive that they’d be delivering a new Hitman game - likely within the year. This is a new "AAA Hitman game for PC and next-gen consoles," not the game "Hitman GO" released for mobile devices. It’s been tipped by an anonymous "insider" that this new game will be revealed - at least in part - by the end of May.

It would appear that Microsoft is preparing to take on the gaming market with the Xbox One without their motion-detecting Kinect. This is a bit of a surprise move, as previous to today it was generally accepted as hard-and-fast fact that the Kinect would always be delivered with the console. With this package, the console will cost a cool $399.
