T-Mobile Galaxy S Blaze 4G announced

The folks at T-Mobile and Samsung have announced today their newest collaborative effort, the Galaxy S Blaze 4G, a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 chip toting Super AMOLED having beast of a 4G device for the pink network. This device is extremely scant on details, it having the ability to work with the Samsung suite of applications and having a form factor ever so slightly different from that of the Galaxy S II line also already released on T-Mobile as well as the other major networks in the USA. Samsung Android 4.0 ICS update nixed for “Value Pack” proposition on Galaxy S and Tab

Those of you pumped up by yesterday's news that Samsung was reconsidering their decision to not update their original Galaxy S line and their Galaxy Tab original to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich may have reason to be a bit confused by the manufacturer's most recent proposition: a "Value Pack" update that, while not entirely ICS, would bring many of the same features. Samsung Galaxy S, Galaxy Tab will not be getting Android 4.0

Samsung has revealed that its Galaxy S smartphone and Galaxy Tab 7-inch tablet will not be getting the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. The company explained that the devices could not be updated due to hardware limitations that would not be able to run the new Android platform alongside Samsung's custom TouchWiz user interface. Samsung Galaxy smartphones banned in Europe by Apple patent complaint

Apple has won another victory against Samsung in their ongoing legal battle. The Dutch courts in The Hague have today issued a preliminary injunction against Samsung’s Galaxy S, Galaxy S II, and Ace smartphones that would ban the sale of the devices across almost all of Europe. The ruling, however, does not include Samsung’s Galaxy tablets.

Samsung Galaxy Precedent Makes Off-Contract Android Ultra Cheap

The folks at Samsung have revealed a device by the name of Galaxy Precedent, a device that would certainly have appeared to be a decent little phone on the top of the mid-range in 2010, but now certainly has the specs that work with its price at $150. But here's the thing: this isn't the price you'll be paying if you buy the phone connected to a two-year contract, it's the price you're paying OFF contract. That means that this is a good deal, for real. Samsung Profits Drop, Saved Only By Smartphones And Tablets

Samsung reported a 30 percent drop to $2.6 billion in their Q1 2011 profits when compared to the same quarter last year. The Korean electronics manufacturer blames the dip on falling chip prices and slowing display sales. Is Samsung Using Tegra 2 or Exynos for New Galaxy S II?

Early on at the 2011 Mobile World Congress, Samsung and NVIDIA made an announcement that the Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be made with NVIDIA's Tegra 2 SoC (I9103). They also announced that they would be working on a new superphone based on Tegra 2. But at Samsung's press conference, we saw the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the Galaxy S II, using Samsung's Exynos SoC (GT-I9100). There was no mention of NVIDIA or Tegra 2. Galaxy S 4G for T-Mobile Officially Announced

While the Samsung Galaxy S 4G for T-Mobile was already "confirmed" earlier today, T-Mobile saw fit to send out an official press release detailing, without actually adding any pertinent details about the device in question, the upcoming release of the "fastest smartphone running on America's largest 4G network."
