, Apr 16th 2010 Discuss [1]

The will-they, won't-they rumors surrounding HTC's tipped tablet project are now officially more convoluted than Ross and Rachel from Friends, and just as we'd got used to the idea that it had all been an experiment subsequently abandoned there's now conflicting word from HTC in South Africa.  At the recent launch of the Legend, Desire and Smart there, local MD Quinton Leigh apparently told PhoneReport that the company was working on an Android-based tablet. Sony UK have announced their 2010 3D HDTV range, which is set to go on sale from June.  Interestingly, rather than outing a flagship first and then gradually pushing out cheaper sets, Sony reckon their 3D debut - the BRAVIA HX800/HX803 - will be "affordable", though exact prices aren't yet revealed and you'll need to shell out a little extra for the necessary 3D glasses and IR emitter unit.  Meanwhile the PS3's 3D firmware upgrade will arrive in sync with the 3D HDTVs, complete with some free 3D games for those who buy a new set. Elitegroup ECS Morph-A: distinctive Full HD all-in-one

, Apr 12th 2010 Discuss [0]

You can't really argue with the fact that a nettop - especially an all-in-one - is basically a deskbound netbook with a bigger screen, and Elitegroup obviously couldn't even be bothered combining the ECS Morph-A's display and base section into a single chunk.  Still, they've obviously been busy with the orange go-faster stripes, perhaps a little incongruous given the Intel Atom D410 or D510 processors actually powering the machine.
