Samsung Galaxy S IV shows up on Expansys

Just last night, EVLeaks dropped some renders of the Galaxy S IV on Twitter, giving us a glimpse at what the new smartphone may look like when its eventually unveiled on March 14. However, it looks like those renders actually came from the device's landing page on Expansys, an online electronics retailer. Furthermore, the tweet from EVLeaks has since been deleted. UPDATE: Expansys has since made clear that these renders come from their web designer and were not meant to be seen as actual images of the device - so cool your jets!

LG's Optimus 2X Android 2.2 smartphone has gone up for pre-order via UK retailer Expansys, which is promising that the Tegra 2 powered superphone is expected to arrive on February 21 2011. Priced at £499.99 ($779) unlocked and SIM-free, the Optimus 2X has a 4-inch display and an 8-megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video recording.

HTC 7 Trophy, HTC HD7 and LG Optimus 7 all up for unlocked preorder

Windows Phone 7 devices aren't showing up on carriers in Europe until October 21st (and November 7th for North America) but that hasn't stopped preorders for unlocked, SIM-free devices from beginning to sprout.  Amazon UK and Expansys have both listed the HTC 7 Trophy for £429.99 (with delivery expected on or around November 8th), but that's not the only one so far.

Acer's Stream Android 2.1 smartphone has just got an official UK launch date, though it's a little later than the previous August 3rd release tipped.  According to the press release, Expansys will be exclusively offering the Stream - complete with a 3.7-inch AMOLED WVGA touchscreen, 1GHz Snapdragon CPU and 5-megapixel camera - from August 9th, priced at £399 ($615), though the retailer's own product page is currently showing August 7th as the due-date.
