Google I/O 2013 sells out in under an hour

This morning (less than an hour ago, in fact) the developer conference known as Google I/O 2013 sold its tickets out in what may be record time. According to last year's record, the big G sold out all of its tickets - regular and academic - in less than 15 minutes, while the year before that it was, once again, "less than an hour." This year we'll have to wait for the official clock from Google to get their view on the situation, but by our watch, the event sold out in 45 minutes.

Facebook News Feed Update: it’s all changing – again

If you've heard about the Facebook event this week surrounding changes to the social network's main feed, you've likely felt a little tinge of annoyance. Samsung Galaxy S4 screenshots foretell beastly specifications

This week the Samsung Galaxy S4 (or Samsung Galaxy S IV, if you prefer) is getting its fair share of pre-release specification leaks, some of them fake, others exceedingly realistic. The one we're about to have a peek at seems to our haggard, weathered eyeballs to be almost surprisingly legitimate - pixel sizes of their screenshots included. With this leak comes a selection of screenshots that include specifications from the app Quick System Info PRO - a free app that'll tell you everything you need to know about your device in a jiffy.

Samsung Galaxy S4 specifications tease biggest launch in company history

This week we're seeing more specification theories, leaks, and downright confirmations coming for the Samsung Galaxy S IV (or S4 if you prefer) than this device's imminent reveal would suggest. The big Samsung "Be Ready 4 The Next Galaxy" invites have been dropped and note a March 14th, 2013 event to be held in Times Square, New York City - if that's not a massive venue, we don't know what is. We'll certainly be there with bells on, but before we get there, let's have a peek at what we might to see!

Technology conventions aren’t dying – they’re evolving

Technology conventions aren’t dying – they’re evolving

If this year's Mobile World Congress taught us one thing, it's that no matter how interesting and innovative the gadget makers and software developers of our global community are, it's the top brands that end up making or breaking the show. Make or break the show for the press, that is. Case in point: our several articles written from our chat with Google's Mathias Duarte - they ended up easily becoming some of the most popular posts we had this week, and Google didn't reveal any new products at the convention. In fact, they didn't have a stand - the chat we had wasn't even on the map. And yet, there it is - Google stole the show anyway.
