ASUS Eee PC 1201N arriving December; Smartbook delayed until Q2 2010?

According to ASUS UK, the company's upcoming Eee PC 1201N complete with NVIDIA Ion graphics will be arriving in stores come December.  Speaking to Electricpig, the company confirmed that the 12-inch Ion machine was imminent, but are yet to define the actual specifications.  Meanwhile, ASUS' first Smartbook has apparently been delayed according to a market specialist at the company, and is now not expected until Q2 2010. ASUS Eee PC T91MT multitouch up for US preorder

Having gone up for preorder in Europe midway through October, the upcoming multitouch-capable ASUS Eee PC T91MT has now shown up for preorder in the US.  Amazon are listing the convertible touchscreen netbook - the T91MT-PU17-WT, to give it its full, catchy title - for $549, though they don't have any specific release date. ASUS Eee Smartbook dropping Q1 2010 for around $180

Bargain hunters looking for a new ultraportable this Christmas could do well to hold off until the new year, as ASUS CEO Jerry Shen has announced the company plans to launch an Android-based Smartbook in Q1 2010 that could be priced at around $180.  ASUS were among the companies demonstrating Smartbook prototypes - based on Qualcomm's 1GHz Snapdragon processor - back in June, but since then have downplayed their involvement with the format. Back when we reviewed the ASUS Eee Top ET1602 late last year, we suggested it could be the epitome of a niche product: netbook hardware squeezed into an unusual desktop case. Now all-in-ones are more common, and so ASUS have returned with an updated design, bigger screen and more media-centric intentions. The ASUS Eee Top ET2002-B024C sticks with Intel’s Atom CPU range but now pairs it with NVIDIA’s Ion graphics chipset for potentially 1080p High-Definition performance. ASUS Eee PC T101H gets Atom N450, coming Jan 2010?

The wire has been pretty barren when it comes to word of ASUS' upcoming 10.2-inch convertible touchscreen netbook, the Eee PC T101H.  Last we heard, ASUS had pushed its release back until September "at the earliest" and were watching sales performance of the T91 before finally green-lighting the project; now, according to NetbookNews' sources, the T101H will make its official debut at CES 2010, complete with Intel's next-gen Atom N450 1.66GHz processor. ASUS have kicked out a new 12-inch netbook, the Eee PC 1201N, packing NVIDIA's Ion graphics chipset and 2GB of RAM.  The Eee PC 1201N is yet to make an official appearance on ASUS' own site, but is currently listed with a Chinese web retailer; for your 3,504 yuan ($513) you get Intel's Atom N270 1.6GHz processor and a 250GB 5,400rpm SATA hard-drive. ASUS Eee ebook reader could launch in 2009 says CEO

It's been a while since we've heard anything of ASUS' ebook reader intentions, but according to DigiTimes the company's CEO, Jerry Shen, has confirmed that they plan to have a device on the market by the end of 2009 at the earliest.  Slotting into the company's Eee brand of low-priced consumer electronic devices, Shen failed to give suggestions of specifications or pricing for the upcoming reader.
