ASUS Eee PC 1215N: dual-core 1.5GHz Atom, NVIDIA Ion, Optimus & July release?

More details on the ASUS Eee PC 1215N are seeping out, ahead of the netbook's expected debut on May 13th, and it's shaping up to be a pretty impressive ultraportable.  According to AllAboutEeePC the 1215N will indeed have the new dual-core 1.5GHz Pine Trail Atom N500 processor expected to hit production in July, together with NVIDIA's Ion GPU.  However, unlike the Eee PC 1215PN, the 1215N will support NVIDIA Optimus for automatic graphics switching. News of a new ASUS Eee PC netbook has emerged, the ASUS Eee PC 1218, though so far specifications are currently unknown.  Previewed in the company's new ASUSDESIGN site, the Eee PC 1218 has apparently already won a reddot 2010 design award and is a 12-inch ultraportable with a full aluminum chassis. Intel Atom N455/N475 CPUs imminent; dual-core N500 in June?

Intel's Atom N455 and N475 processors are apparently due for launch "shortly", according to DigiTimes' sources, after the chips were unofficially previewed back at CeBIT 2010 in March.  They'll supposedly be succeeded by the launch of the dual-core Atom N500 series in June, at which point we're told Intel will spill the beans on their third-gen netbook platform. ASUS Eee PC T101MT finally arrives in US

It's taken them long enough, but ASUS' Eee PC T101MT - the 10.1-inch multitouch convertible netbook - is finally on sale and shipping in the US.  Available through Amazon, the T101MT has an Intel Atom N450 processor, 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard-drive, but the most interesting aspect is the multitouch-capable 1024 x 600 resistive touchscreen. ASUS Eee PC T101MT hits US and Europe in April 2010

Having teased us with it for over a year, ASUS have finally announced availability for the Eee PC T101MT, their 10.1-inch convertible multitouch-capable netbook.  According to the company's Italian press release, the T101MT will arrive in Europe in April 2010 with a price tag of €499 ($663); however, Lilliputing have also heard from ASUS that the US launch of the tablet will also be in April, with a retail price of $499.
