A new category for digital items has been added to eBay making waves because of the trading potential it brings to the marketplace. The category in question is “Virtual Currency”, which will make selling Bitcoins, dogecoin, crypto currency miners, and mining contracts an easy task.

Various skins and limited edition boxes tend to dot the landscape throughout the console’s life, and some Microsoft employees are taking advantage with the newest Xbox. Special edition Xbox One consoles, doled out to employees in Redmond ahead of launch, are being hocked on eBay for quite a bit of coin.
With so many details about the new HTC One already known, all that's really left for HTC to do is start selling the new smartphone, but even there the company has been beaten to it. A 2014 HTC One (aka "HTC M8") has already sold in Verizon form on eBay, confirming the much-rumored specifications along the way.

eBay has a booming auction business and is one of the most popular places online for people to go to sell off the old junk they no longer want. An analyst from Macquarie Capital named Ben Schachter noted in a recent report that eBay has a plan to open a new direct-to-consumer sales site this spring.
Amazon's drone delivery program, "PrimeAir", has been dismissed as fantasy by eBay's CEO, with the outspoken exec arguing that the online retail giant's aim to have micro-deliveries airborne isn't practical. "We're not really focusing on long-term fantasies," John Donahue told Bloomberg TV when asked about Amazon's moonshot scheme, which according to CEO Jeff Bezos has a 2015 launch target. "We're focusing on things we can do today."
The latest in company poaching comes by way of eBay, which has nabbed Apple executive R. J. Pittman who will now reported to the retail company's president as eBay's Chief Product Officer. The move comes after what is said to be a couple months of talks going on behind the scene, and is unrelated to recent Apple hires, including Burberry's CEO.
In a strange move by ZTE, the company is planning to sell its latest handset in the US and UK by listing it on eBay. Of course, this wouldn't the first time that companies have resorted to eBay for selling their products, but it's interesting to see a mobile phone maker sell their devices directly through eBay instead of their own website.
What once was just a simple website for hosting online auctions is now a company that does so much more. eBay just launched a new service called Exact, which is essentially an online store dedicated entirely to 3D-printed products that shoppers can choose from and even customize, including phone cases, accessories, and jewelry.
