Next-generation Xbox SmartGlass revealed at E3

Xbox SmartGlass allows users to control their Xbox consoles with a smartphone or tablet, and for Xbox One, Microsoft revealed the next-generation Xbox SmartGlass for the new console. Users will be able to start a single-player game, as well as set up a multiplayer session with friends. You can also purchase in-game add-ons.

Forza Motorsports 5 further detailed at E3

We heard about Forza 5 at Microsoft's initial unveil event for the Xbox One, but developer Turn 10 briefly provided further details on the game during Microsoft's E3 presser today. The newest McLaren seems to be the centerpiece for the new game, and they even had a real one on stage during the event, attracting our googly eyes.

New Xbox 360 console design official

The main focus of the Microsoft event will be the Xbox One, however that doesn't mean we aren't going to see anything related to the Xbox 360. In fact, Micrsoft kicked off the E3 2013 event with word of a new design for the 360 as well as an upgrade to the existing Gold setup. And nicely done, the updated Gold setup will bring free games starting in July.

Call of Duty Ghosts gameplay goes underwater, dog combat hits PS4, Xbox One

This week E3 has started off with an expanded look at what it'll mean to be playing the game Call of Duty: Ghosts. In the "All Access Gameplay Preview" presented by the makers of this next-generation title, users are given a look at how underwater sniper missions will look like, hunting down the enemy remotely with the all-important dog companion, and a few awe-inspiring looks at the landscape (such as that which you're seeing below this paragraph.)

Nintendo lists Best Buy locations for E3 game previews

Nintendo has listed the 110 Best Buy stores that will give impatient gamers an opportunity to play new Wii U and 3DS titles alongside their launch at E3 2013 next month, as part of its attempt to boost enthusiasm in the fact of Sony and Microsoft's next-gen consoles. The scheme, revealed earlier this month, will see select games put up for in-store play, though not offered for sale at that stage.

Sony bribes Minecraft creator with gold PSone

Why Won’t Sony Let Us See What the PS4 Looks Like?

The next generation of console gaming is upon us. Nintendo has already launched its Wii U, Microsoft’s Xbox One will be launching sometime later this year, and Sony has revealed several details about its PlayStation 4.

But unlike its chief competitors, Sony has decided against showing off the design of its next console. The company announced the device earlier this year, talked about its specs, but wouldn’t show what it actually looked like. And when the console was recently featured in a teaser for the upcoming E3 gaming trade show, Sony once again decided against showing off the device.
