Need for speed has long been one of the most well known racing franchises. Today at E3, EA revealed some new details that will not only build on traditional elements of the game, but also add some new twists that may potentially revitalize the game. The Autolog feature is now integrated directly into the game, so every second counts toward, or possibly against, your stats. The biggest surprise came when they announced on-foot scenes will be added to the gameplay.

E3 2011: EA Shows off Mass Effect 3, Battlefield 3, Need For Speed and more
More action is kicking off at E3 2011 as the EA event is about to get started. It looks like we are getting right into the good stuff with Mass Effect 3, then some Need for Speed, followed with what is surely to be the biggest game for them coming up, and that is Battlefield 3. This event is mainly focused on the games, and not things like Kinect. They are showing some great footage.

Disney Partners with Microsoft to bring Theme Park to Xbox
Now anyone in the world can visit the Walt Disney theme park, even if it is only in the virtual world. At E3 this morning, the new Disneyland Adventures release was confirmed for the Kinect. It is a children’s themed title that appears to be a collection of mini-games based on the real world theme park. Even though it is cartoony and geared at younger audiences, it looks like anyone who enjoys the Disney theme for a casual gaming experience should like this game.

Yes the President of the UFC Dana White took the stage at E3 today to talk about UFC LIVE. Star Wars coming to Xbox Kinect
Star Wars fans the wait is over. Microsoft is bringing a Star Wars title to the Xbox lineup. Although not clear on the exact title, it appears to be simply Star Wars Kinect. The body control of the Kinect puts you in direct control of the action. Not clear on the voice control capability, they didn’t show any voice control functions in today’s reveal. What we did see looks very promising, and we are looking forward to getting our hands on the demo.

Well while we were watching live from the Microsoft E3 2011 event we heard plenty of talk regarding the hotly popular Microsoft Kinect. It looks like it will be taking over just about every aspect of our Xbox and daily lives soon enough. We will be controlling just about everything you can imagine with our voices and body. Activision Announces Call of Duty Elite Beta to Launch July 14
Activision announced today that the Call of Duty Elite Beta will launch July 14th 2011. The date of the full launch has yet to be announced, but the invitation only Beta will start next month. With over one million Call of Duty fans signed up for the beta so far, there are literally “millions” watching this launch. Not much has been leaked about the new “Elite” experience, but we were able to find a few details in the press release this morning.

Spider-Man: Edge of Time E3 trailer and screens appear
Spider-man and those acrobatic moves we all love has reappeared and is ready to hit the streets for battle. Teasing us with a few screenshots and a trailer from E3 2011. They look to have added a pretty great storyline to Edge of Time and even tease us with comments like "What happens after you die, in my case you're about to find out." Sounds pretty exciting.

Microsoft E3 leak: Halo 4 confirmed; Kinect Fun Labs games detailed [Video]
Microsoft’s E3 2011 announcements have been prematurely revealed, and the company only has itself to blame. The Xbox E3 page spilled the details for a few short moments, but enough for us to grab some screenshots: not only is Halo 4 confirmed as on its way, along with Dance Central 2, Kinect Star Wars and other titles, but new Kinect Fun Labs games too. Wii 2 to be called “Nintendo”; touchscreen controller apparently confirmed
Headlines today are likely to be taken up by Apple's WWDC 2011 keynote, but with E3 2011 kicking off in earnest tomorrow, Tuesday June 7, there's Nintendo's big reveal to think about too. The company has already promised its next-gen console will make its debut at the show, and rumors continue to flourish about just what this "Wii 2" will do - and what Nintendo will call it. If you thought "Wii" was an odd one, the latest suggestion is even stranger.
