DROID X2 Review

DROID X2 Review

For a while, Motorola's original DROID X on Verizon led the pack. Offering a big screen, a big camera and a slender chassis, it helped drive the race toward oversized Android handsets that has led us to the Galaxy S II, Infuse 4G and Sensation. Now comes the Motorola DROID X2, boosting screen resolution and throwing in a second processor core, but wrapped up in the same sober suit. Has the company done enough to keep the DROID X2 topical, or is this sequel a flop? Check out the full SlashGear review after the cut.

Droid X2 Unboxing and Hands-on [vs. Droid X]

It must be the day for 4.3-inch qHD Android smartphones: first the HTC Sensation, and now Verizon's DROID X2 by Motorola. The second-gen handset sticks closely to what made its predecessor a success, but will that undermine enthusiasm for upgraders? Check out our first impressions after the cut.

DROID Incredible 2 Review

DROID Incredible 2 Review

Last April we described the original DROID Incredible as an "excellent" device, buoyed above the then-competition by virtue of its 8-megapixel camera and user-friendly HTC Sense interface. Since then, Android phones have grown second processor cores and even bigger displays, and the smartphone market in general has become a far more competitive place. Can the Verizon DROID Incredible 2 pick up where its predecessor left off? Check out the full SlashGear review after the cut.

SlashGear Morning Wrap-up: November 29 2010

Welcome back after an extended holiday weekend! Many of you've got your new Android smartphones and giant televisions and weirdo oddities under your belt (or maybe you had even more fun by buying those things as presents) and you've come back, hungry for some tech news! Well you're in luck, especially if you DIDN'T pick up your device of choice yet, especially if you live in Korea (where you'll find the LG LU3000, faster than Galaxy S, - that is of course if you dismiss the fact that you might be going to war soon,) in Japan (where Sharp is very soon releasing their fabulous Galapagos tablets,) or the USA (where you can get a FREE G2.) Of course, if you're in Taiwan this week, you'll probably flip out over a ASUS Eee Note EA-800, and if you're in the USA... well... how about a pulse rifle? Or I bet you're on the lookout for a SlashGear Cyber Monday Round Up?! All this and MORE on SlashGear Morning Wrap-up!
