Piece together all the Apple iPad tablet rumors, supposed-leaks and speculation and you'd end up with a Frankenstein's monster of a device, one capable of hypnotizing the whole blogosphere ahead of Apple's press conference next Wednesday.  Latest to throw their oar in is iLounge, who reckon they have the scoop on two hardware details for the touchscreen slate.  Most curious is the suggestion - so their source claims - that the iPad will have dual dock connectors. iTamtam stool sports iPod dock

I have seen some very strange iPod docks over the years. There was the vacuum with the iPod dock built-in, and the washing machine with the iPod dock. Those I could actually see a use for in some instances, but the docking stool from iTamtam is just plain weird. Read The Full Story

The leaked Google Nexus One ROM continues to throw up some interesting tidbits, and after the specification run-down earlier this week there's now news on a potential official accessory for the Android 2.1 smartphone.  Tweakers have been digging through the official headset support list, and have spotted an entry for the "Nexus One Car Dock"; it suggests that Google - or HTC, the ODM behind the Nexus One - will be producing some sort of docking cradle for using the smartphone with Google Maps Navigation.
