Rock Band Weekly DLC – The Cars

It’s only Wednesday, so we normally wouldn’t expect to hear about next week’s DLC for Rock Band for a few more days. However, it seems that Harmonix is so excited about it that they just can’t wait. I can understand, as this marks the second full album download that will be available for the game. If you’re a fan of The Cars, then you’ll want to download their self-titled debut album next week. One of the games that really caught people off guard last year was Portal. I remember thinking that it was going to be some simple game that I would forget soon after playing. However, it was just as much fun as any of the other games in the Orange Box. While it didn’t last long, people are producing new levels for it all the time, and today I’ve discovered an awesome collection of new custom levels.

I always talk about the abundance of DLC for Rock Band as one of the game’s best features. Unfortunately, with so much music to choose from, it’s also something of a downside. Okay, so they’re not exactly twisting your arm to buy it, but you can easily spend a lot of money picking up extra tracks.
