DJ Hero controller now sold separately

Having hitherto only been available as part of a game bundle, Activision have now made the DJ Hero controller available as a standalone peripheral.  Priced at $69.99 and available for PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii, the controller has a rotating deck platter, an effects dial, crossfader and three dual-color stream buttons.

DJ Hero controller gets FCC teardown, flaunts manual

Poorly framed, low-quality photo?  Non-descript but brightly colored background?  It can only mean one thing: the FCC’s team of crack photographers have been at it again, and in this case it’s the DJ Hero controller that has born the brunt of their traditional teardown.

DJ Hero limited edition with Jay-Z and Eminem on the way

Apparently, just the fact that a game called DJ Hero is on the way is not enough. Instead, Activision is also going to be releasing a limited edition version of the video game that includes Eminem and Jay-Z tracks.

Guitar Hero 5, Band Hero and DJ Hero announced

Fresh gaming news from Activision today, as the company confirms three new titles in the burgeoning Guitar Hero franchise.  Guitar Hero 5, Band Hero and DJ Hero will all launch this year; Activision have also released this render of the DJ Hero controller.
